Variable Data Printing
Anyone do VDP in house? What software do you use? Do you use one of the printers made for it? We are looking at doing some postcards customized for individual students and are looking at about $5 per postcard (down from $10) for about 1300 prospective students. If anyone has any info on it, that'd be great.

From what I can find about VDP, it's just "large scale mail merge". If you're only doing this every once in a while, I'd prepare a Word Template as if you're doing a normal mail merge and let a print bureau do it.
