Looking for a pseudo flight-sim starter kit?

Post by Gromit »

Then you're in luck! ;)

I have the following available:

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002 (Standard): On Amazon.com for $28.95
767 Pilot in Command (add-on to MSFS2002): Retails for $20.00
Private Pilot (add-on to MSFS2002): Retails for $14.95
Corporate Pilot (add-on to MSFS2002): Retails for $14.95
PBY Catalina (add-on to MSFS2002): Retails for $14.95
Co-Pilot (add-on to MSFS2002): Retails for $39.95
EZ-VFR (add-on to MSFS2002): Pacakged with Co-Pilot
Airport 2000 Vol.2 (add-on to MSFS2002): Retails for $25.00
FS Clouds 2000 (add-on to MSFS2002): No prive available; possibly out of print

Total retail cost: $158.75 (without FS Clouds 2000)

I upgraded to MFSF: A Century of Flight awhile ago, and these are no longer compatible.

In addition to the above package, I'll throw in a copy of IL-2 Sturmovik, Eurofighter Typhoon, Microsoft Flight Simulator 98, Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator 2 and 3 (Pacific and European Theaters).

All disks are original, and I have documentation for most of the stuff. There are no boxes, as I'm married. ;)

I'm looking for a little cash with which to buy new add-ons for A Century of Flight. I think $50 +$5 shipping (USPS Priority) for the lot is both reasonable and fair. Paypal is accepted (and actually preferred).

Contact me at fokker@gmail.com, john.compton@lakenheath.af.mil, or john@johnlauriejt.com if interested.

Thanks! 8)

Not an offer, but an endorsement - that is a great price for all those addons and extra games.

Thanks, Blackhawk.

Part of me actually wants to hang on to these. Many of the Abacus titles are upgradeable to CoF, but at a small cost (around $15 each). I might just end up doing that if nobody bites.

I was really hoping to simply hook up an OO'er that was on the fence about flight sims. For $50, they'd be set up rather nicely...all they'd really need is a joystick (providing they don't already own one). Worse comes to worst, I'll put this package up on AVSIM. ;)

I'm tempted to take you up on this deal, but I have most of those you are offering up. I know someone will have a fantastic time with these.

Oh well, on to Avsim!
