No question - Half Life 2 all the way. I couldn't care less about the physics engine, I was blown away by how real everything looked and felt, particularly in the city missions. Whatever else I might say about Half Life 2, I can only praise the graphics engine.

Easy one this, although I was very impressed with EQ2 graphics, Half Life 2 is on a different playing field.
