For a second I thought you were saying Archon was to be a head player. I thought it odd we'd all know an ID so quickly. :P (Figured it might be from the last game because he won it or something. Hmmm... Wasn't that the Mel Gibson game?

Seems pretty stacked to the Dark. Will there be a Missionary type role to convert a Dark player to Light. Maybe certain Dark players will be invulnerable to it.

Don't forget the Dark is the Village (the "Good Guys")
Yeah, but it seems pretty stacked to the good guys no?

They have one who must lynched. He can come out whenever. Of course any Light could come out as that one too I guess.

An auto kill role

Masons which give 66% of the communication the light have

They can scan and PM with the Seeker

They have a mage type

They are missing a priest/protection type role though right?

Just seems stacked is all.

By giving the players scanned knowledge that they have been scanned you have completely removed the ability of the Light to pretend to be the Dark Seeker. That busts the game IMO. Missed that he could also PM them. Way to much power. Unless the Light get lucky and kill him in the first day or two he will run away with the game.

Retribution will be about the only way to kill the outed Bulletproof. Retribution could be killed by Dark Vengence.

Sorry, mage type would be the PM/scanner I guess.

Would it be overpowering to allow an elder type role who can sire, but maybe fails on anyone but a common villager? (And they lose the ability)

:Or if this doesn't go within the feel of the game is certainly a valid reason for axing it. Just thinking aloud.

Alternatively he chooses a Light and opens communication with them, right?

Should he be ID'd to his scan target (like the old days of PMing "I am the Seer" but ModVerified?)
Why would he PM them. He is building a trail of scans so that when he comes forward they will all know him because they will all know when they were scanned. And why would he even consider PMing a Light that he just scanned?

Agreed that he wouldn't need to PM. But he would not receive his Answer until end of phase, as per normal resolutions.

Perhaps the drawback that he is ID'd to his target balances that
Oh, so they are told who scanned them as well as that they were scanned. I thought they got a "you've been scanned" message but no more details.

So to get this straight. He can PM, but he will not know the true ID of who he is talking to until the end of the night. He may scan and not PM though. Can he revisit and PM another night after knowing the ID of the person? Wastes a night but might be good if they found a key player or the siblings.

You've been scanned would be good. I don't like the idea of the scanner being ID'd. They can ID themselves if they choose to PM if I understand correctly. If that's the way it is, I think it's a cool role.

Can the Silencer skip a night? That way a Light member could shut up for a day and utter only a vote as if they'd been silenced. Or can the Silencer silence a Light member?

I actually think it better if his ID is given, but it should only be given after they have chosen their victem for the day. That way if the scanner picks a Light they can not kill him that night. If his ID is not given then he is perfectly safe and is building his network day by day and the only hope the Good Guys have is to find him before he builds it big enough to win.

He should be allowed to PM the targeted player that night. Choosing that player again would allow such an incident to occur.
I like the balancing effect of being able to scan whoever anonymously, balanced by giving up the right to PM them. If you choose to PM, you ID yourself. Not knowing the role before PM's being allowed brings some suspense and balance.

I think I would wait until all Orders for Activity were in.
Then allow the PM if desired.
Then resolve Orders.

Hmmm... think I'll look over and determine Optional versus Required

Instinctively I want to say Option Use of power and may indeed target a teammate.

I'd say allow the silencer to be repeated. Cap it at three per player if you want though. Might be neat to have someone shutup for a while. :P

I agree on the witch though.
