I think Austin knows my record and feels my inability to identify the vampires would work too well for the bad guys to even think about switching me.

READ THIS PLEASE

Whoa guys - pr0ner may have a point here to a certain extent. Please tell me if my logic is wrong, but...

There are 7 of us remaining:
I know I haven't actually voted for pr0ner, but I was certainly willing to do so. So, if you add that to those that actually cast a vote against him (McNutt, Remus, Bubbles and Kelric) - that's 5 people willing to lynch pr0ner.

IF pr0ner is guilty, then that only leaves Cesare as the Childer assuming with a 4-vote majority that his cohort would NOT cast a vote on pr0ner.

However, if Bubbles turns out to be guilty, then we may need a little room for trial-and-error to find the Childer. It could be Kelric, McNutt or Remus. (Plus, you guys may think it's me also because I cannot prove otherwise).

So, since we can only miss twice before succumbing to the vampires, should we think about lynching Bubbles over pr0ner? That way, if Bubbles is innocent, we lynch proner and Cesare, but if Bubbles is guilty, then we have 2 misses to find the Childer instead of wasting one on an "innocent" pr0ner.

This may need some more discussion. What do you guys think?

So, please don't cast another vote until we can talk this through.

What makes you think they will not vote for each other? I think your assumption is wrong. Were I a Vampire I would be sure to be in on the vote to off the other, it might be the only protection you can get from being the next target.

You are correct, they could very well do that, but it would seem risky to me when it's coming down to the wire like this. You probably have more experience with this than I do, so you can probably give more insight.

However, of the votes that are cast, can we rule out a pr0ner-Bubbles tandem can't we? I think we can rule out a pr0ner-Kelric tandem also. I could see a McNutt-pr0ner tandem though, so that would leave Cesare or McNutt as a possible Childer to pr0ner. We already know we have several choices for Bubbles, so why not play the odds and vote Bubbles first to give us a better chance to finding the Childer through trial-and-error?

Something has to give somewhere and I chose to assume they would not vote for each other to narrow my choices - right or wrong. With our limited room for error, I think I had to draw a line somewhere and go from there.

I agree that pr0ner probably deserves to by lynched more than Bubbles, but I'm trying to put us in the best scenario in case we are wrong. The more I think about this, the more I like this path. My assumptions could be wrong from the very beginning, but it's all I have right now.

I think I'll vote Mr. Bubbles and then you can feel free to choose which path we take from here because, frankly, I really don't know.

If I were the childer I would lead the charge against one of the other two vampires to make everyone believe I'm still human. I would then frame an innocent and then another innocent.

Having said that, I'll withdraw my pr0ner vote and follow Krash's lead and go for Mr. Bubbles.

So, you say my logic is wrong also and then vote with me? Alrighty then.

I guess we'll soon get a better picture of what we're dealing with now - that's now 4 on Bubbles.

Interesting, had McNutt not placed the locking vote on Mr Bubbles I was going to replace my vote for pr0ner so I will just hope I was wrong and Krash is correct in his assessment.

Not at all. If you're human than your argument is as good as any I could make, so I'd vote with you. If you're a vampire then, as I stated above, you might push to lynch one of your own, in which case I'm still going to vote with you.

Oh so it looks like a lock. Krash needs to be lynched after me. You'll see how wrong you are. Good luck with your new role of Remuscidian.

I really hope you are lying because you already have four votes against and there is nothing we can do. You are a dead man walking. Its not Kelricing if you want to come clean now.

Sorry Remus - I guess I did f*** that up. I was hoping you would have been able to cast the locking vote because I really wanted you to prove which camp your loyalty lay, but alas, you didn't get that chance, so I'll take the blame for putting Bubbles on the edge making it so easy for the vamps. Really sorry guys - I think I may overanalyze this stuff too much.

Daybreak!

By now the assembled group knew the routine. They met in the Breakfast room and a head count was taken. Remus was the first to point out that Cesare was missing. Everyone already knew that Cesare was dead, but they had to be sure. They head to Cesare room and find it empty. Strange thing was a salad bowl on his bed. McNutt was th first to notice Cesare pinned to the ceiling. Written in blood beside him:

Cesare Blood Dressing! My Favorite!!

You know, pr0ner. I don't understand why you would kill Cesare after he was "linked" to you by voting for Bubbles. Once we kill you and have to find the Childer, the likely suspects were Cesare, McNutt and now myself I"m sure. By eliminating Cesare, you helped us narrow that search - or was that a way to discredit my deductions?

Basically, my initial deduction was this:

Code: Select all

I would agree to vote for pr0ner or Bubbles.
If pr0ner is innocent: I would say Bubbles and Remus/McNutt would be next.
If pr0ner is guilty: I would look at McNutt next (maybe Cesare)

Or we voted for Bubbles:
If Bubbles is innocent: I would look at McNutt/Cesare
If Bubbles is guilty: I would look at Remus/McNutt
I guess it's conceivable that McNutt would see that and be the first to cast a vote on pr0ner to disassociate himself, which I guess I allowed him to do by dismissing it as Remus tried to tell me. And then allowed him to make the kill on Bubbles, which I freely take blame for.

So, I guess the first order of business now is to kill pr0ner and then the rest of you guys will have to decide if you trust me or not, but my little "plan" was to use Bubbles as a test to find the Childer and I was full aware that he may have been innocent. Apparently, I didn't think it through well enough to realize the Childer would vote for his cohort, but since Cesare is dead, we know that was the case unless you truly think I am the Childer (because everyone else actually voted for pr0ner). I'm sorry for causing the confusion, but it seems I may have lost any trust to make claims now.

On that note, kill Pr0ner and then go from there I guess.
