Fair enough. I'm familiar with this piece. Still the point is there responsibility for spurring on dangerous activity? This isn't anti-war speech. This is telling people in the middle of an epidemic to act in a way designed to increase the danger to the public. Intentional or not. This is dangerous speech and this is a person with a million followers.Isgrimnur wrote: Sun Mar 15, 2020 9:34 pmYou might benefit from a Popehat refresher on that phrase.
Folks, the LEFT has collapsed our institutions that have served us in times of trouble. TAKE...TO ...THE...STREETS. That is the battlefield the LEFT has defined. I will no longer sit back and watch the destruction of this great republic over the FLU.
When I first read that I wondered what the hell the FLU was. Federal Law...? Then I realized he capitalized all the letters in flu.malchior wrote: Sun Mar 15, 2020 9:51 pmFolks, the LEFT has collapsed our institutions that have served us in times of trouble. German officials will discuss a reported U.S. attempt to secure the rights to any coronavirus vaccine developed by a German pharmaceutical company in crisis meetings on Monday, the country's interior minister said, amid concerns that the Trump administration was trying to monopolize the market.
Interior Minister Horst Seehofer, when asked to confirm a report the Trump administration was attempting to secure exclusive rights to any vaccine created by the German biopharmaceutical firm CureVac, said he had “heard from several other members of government today that is the case.”
Germany’s Welt am Sonntag newspaper reported Sunday that the administration wanted to secure the rights and move research and development to the United States. The vaccine would be developed “only for the USA,” the newspaper said.

I was very aware about it but was using it in the non-legal sense that most non-Mr. Fed educated people use it.stessier wrote: Mon Mar 16, 2020 3:17 amGeez, think of what you are doing to Mr Fed's blood pressure! Still the point remains there are a lot of actors speaking up in dangerous ways. Unfortunately one is the damn President.Still, I think its fair to wonder where those lines are because idiots like that are potentially causing harm to the public.
It's back on and heading towards 2nd breaker already.

I still don't know why I have to be in the office, and not just Corona-virus related but almost ever. 99% of the work I do could be done from home, and that 1% could be scheduled. Unless one of my local area minions are on vacation, I am never called upon to physically address a problem at any of my plants.Octavious wrote: Mon Mar 16, 2020 9:49 am So is he going to sign the chart from today? We're so fucked in so many ways. He's already publicly stated that his actions were not precedent. He'd ram through a SCOTUS appointment made by Trump even if it came a week before Trump was to leave office.Paingod wrote: Mon Mar 16, 2020 11:17 amThat was Mitch's thinking to thwart Obama. Don't worry the kids have got this. They should means test anything anyway. I don't need $1000. Let's get the right help to the people who need it.
