Weird. Your replies almost always do this
Re: Trump 202[emoji2Image92] Campaign - The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly.

and then it turns the last post in the index in to that as well. It's not ruin, but it's is distracting, for lack of a better word. I'd ask FP to look in to it, but I'm thankful for what we have.

And now, to the Internet!!! And other than learning its a known tapatalk thing, I got nothing....

Edit: I owe you an apology. It feels like it was a lot but I search only shows this as the second time for you and maybe the 5th time over all. I have no idea why it sticks out so badly for me.

Fill in the blank:

In your WILDEST DREAMS, Harris/Walz manage to turn every state Blue, except : _________, _________, _________, _________, and _________.

I'm curious what people feel are the 5 Most Red states (without looking up data)

I would say:

Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, Kentucky, Tennessee

Had to pass on Texas, SC, Missouri, and well, a number of others.

Christ. PR in Florida were 38% / 60% for Trump - until they just now realized he was a piece of shit‽

I guess they are passionate people. Better get this election over with before they fall back in love.

Start with Rip. JK. Now I done broke my own rule of not mentioning those who stepped away.

Not sure I disagree with your actual list, though Texas, Wyoming, Idaho, Utah, and Montana come to mind as competitors and maybe even bump Tennessee for Arkansas. I could see Tennessee flipping before Arkansas does. TN has a growing industrial, education/tech, suburban/urban cultures that could all move left if given enough opportunity. They could become more Georgia like pretty quickly.

Crap. There really are a lot of Deep Red states, aren't there. I had spaced Arkansas. Wyoming & Utah too. Montana has a little hippie in it. Idaho may too.

To be fair, I think it was his weird and awkward attempt to show that the mic stand was too small and that he couldn’t be heard. I watched the whole thing fully expecting him to have said something sexist about Harris or another woman he hates, but it was just him bitching about the sound equipment.

Indiana went blue for Obama in 2008, so anything is possible.

I did see three new “Guns, God, and Freedom” Trump flags pop up during my morning run today.

One of them had Trump’s head photoshopped onto Rambo’s body, which I always find hilarious.

I need to apologize on that. It was a few in short period of time that felt like it was much more omnipresent than it is. It is/was still a huge distraction for me (an that's a me problem) but it being so huge made it seem like it happened a lot more than it did.

A big part of the GOP strategy for the past few days has been to post very stern reminders that only citizens may vote and warning Trumpers to be on the lookout for "anything unusual" at the polls.

Put this together with the fake polls they've been dumping into the averages and everything Trump has been spewing at his rallies, and it's clear that they expect to lose. They're priming their base to believe the election was stolen.

Majority of pundits don't expect definitive counts until Wednesday. 40% expect it to drag out a week. The longer it goes on, the more the GOP misinformation machine can take advantage.

Does anyone remember 2016 when Trump and the GOP were claiming voter fraud up until they realized he won the college? It was sloppy and typical President Trump Admin 1.0 but a sure sign of things to come. Jan 6 was a beta test of 2.0.

Given that people related to his proposed and past administrations are coming out and talking about his declaration of victory already...

Fuck that guy. (Even as I still fear he is going to win and possibly in part through voter intimidation and fraud. Again, fuck that guy. The latest MAGA tactic seems to be to have large groups go "stand in line" and move as slowly as possible, or stand around in large groups just outside the electioneering perimeter without any intention of actually voting (in heavily Dem areas, of course). Basically to gum up the works in an already overloaded system then scream "help, help, I'm being repressed" when they're finally removed. Saw multiple posts over the weekend about that happening in several states.

Seriously, fuck these people.

Oh, hey, we talking CHIPS Act?

House Speaker Johnson says GOP may try to repeal CHIPS Act, then walks it back
House Speaker Mike Johnson said Friday that Republicans “probably will” try to repeal legislation that spurred U.S. production of semiconductor chips, a statement he quickly tried to walk back by saying he would like to instead “streamline” it.

Johnson made the initial comment while campaigning for a vulnerable New York GOP congressman in a district that is anticipating a large new Micron semiconductor manufacturing plant.

A reporter asked Johnson whether he would try to repeal the bipartisan CHIPS and Science Act, which Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump had disparaged last week. “I expect that we probably will, but we haven’t developed that part of the agenda yet,” Johnson replied.
...
Johnson, who voted against the legislation, later said in a statement that the CHIPS Act, which poured $54 billion into the semiconductor manufacturing industry, “is not on the agenda for repeal.”
Of course not if you haven't written it yet.
It's almost as if people are the problem.

According to the CPVI, the reddest states are, in order:

1.Wyoming
2.West Virginia
3.North Dakota
4.Oklahoma
5.Idaho

Basically, the Southeast if you take out all the black voters.

The next five are closer to what I would've thought:

6.Arkansas
7.Kentucky
8.South Dakota
9.Alabama
10.Tennessee

Monday early afternoon seems like a bad time to host a rally anyway.
