Scoop walks into the conference room from his cabin rubbing the sleep out of his eyes looking cranky...
Scoop notices most of the group sits around the conference table quietly discussing the possibilities of the day. Mipe is curled up in the fetal position under the conference table mumbling in his sleep.
Scoop asks, "Does anyone hear that sound?"
Bahktosh looks up and says "What sound?"
"I don't know. But, I keep kind of hearing something like a ... but then it's gone.", responds scoop.
Unagi looks at Scoop skeptically, "Is this another one of your tricks? Like that code you scratched out on the wall of your bunk?"
"No one hears anything?", asks scoop again tapping his ear.
"Go sell crazy somewhere else, scoop." purge remarks, "were all full here."
Scoop shakes his head and walks back to his bunk.

This is a sweet ruleset. Maybe it's my favorite.Chaosraven wrote:Negative:Bakhtosh wrote:If six is dead, as you claim, and #10 is unconverted, we don't have a problem.
Only 6 can activate 10.-Six or Baltar find each other, Six finds #10: Assassination will not be stopped. The humans will somehow know the next day that they have a traitor in their midst though if Baltar. Will not know if #10 was converted.
Cylon #10 - 1 crew is a hidden Cylon (does not know they are cylon) if in the search for Baltar they find hidden cylon#10 then cylon is activated and have access to other cylons (#7 if contacted) and the search for Baltar stops. But Baltar may continue to search for six. If six is dead then the other cylons may continue the search for #10. Cylon #10 will scan as cylon by Athena at all times. Cylon #10 counts as good as long as unconverted. (Athena and Baltar cannot be #10). #10 loses any special abilities of the character he/she was before activation.

An explosion rocks the ship. The survivors pour from their rooms and head toward the location of the blast. They find the room, the door is completely blown off it’s frame and is lying twisted in the hallway. “Who’s room was this?” Revhempus yells above the commotion. Unagi speaks up, “It was Remus West’s room.”
“What the hell was he doing in there?” Before anyone could respond purge runs up, out of breath, he says “I found kraegor. He’s been shot and he’s dead.”
“Frak! Obviously the Cylons are still active. Let’s get to the meeting room and get to work.”

My giant mug of Costa Rican coffee has run dry and my bladder is suffering from severe Kepler Syndrome, but it looks as if I'm getting to the good part so I'm trying to resist the urge long enough to see where things actually stand.
At the moment, I have the impression that it's pretty obvious what's going on.
Austin and Unagi killed Sean not knowing he was 10. Chaosraven discovered Austin. Scoop is 7 and Unagi 'noticed' his code both to seek confirmation and to secure trust.
Without having read the last few pages, I'm 95% sure that Scoop is #7 and only 70% sure that Unagi is Cavil. On the theory that Unagi isn't Cavil, I have another suspect.
But permit me to finish reading....

Re: (03) BSG IV -Day 3 - kraegor & Remus -Dead & Deader
Right. A few observations.
First, Chaosraven (IIRC) has already mentioned the reason a Specialist might (for now) deny being a Specialist: to open the possibility that an evildoer might falsely claim to be one.
Second, don't bother trying to deduce the identity of Specialist #3 (for now). I'm Specialist #2, and I can tell you (a) that he's alive, and (b) that I've left him the means to confirm himself should I happen to die by night, and (c) it's up to the Cylon(s) to decide whether I'm bluffing about (a) and (b).
With a living Baltar resistant to conversion-- assuming we have such a thing-- the loss of me wouldn't blind us anyhow. A hiccup in the autopsy biz is a smal price to pay for scientific inquiry, no?
Third, I don't understand why Scoop is still alive. I was just toying around with Unagi, which is why I hedged so much; I wanted to provoke certain reactions and see who would join in framing him. Not an unusual play for me, but the fact that the explosion confirms that Sean was Cavil pretty much preempts such maneuvers.
It's really down to redrun, RevHempus, and Scoop. I suspect 10 hasn't been found, but who knows. Odds are that lynching Scoop will end the game; if it doesn't, then at least we'll know exactly where things stand. Then it's merely a game of attrition, no? And we win in any event.
I'd test 'em in this order: Scoop, redrun, RevHempus, Unagi.
Your mileage may vary.

Nice to have you back Grund.
Sean bailed on the game-- uncool when you're Cavil. No wonder Austin longed for a reroll. Incommunicado, he made the most of it. But what can you do against being outed by the Seer? Especially if your teammate provides you no cover?
We know Seven was never discovered by Cavil/Six, since we never had a deathless night. We also know Seven is alive, since the bomb went off. We also know that Seven's in charge; if Cavil/Six were alive (and Sean were Ten) and Cavil/Six hadn't yet found Seven (since no deathless nights have passed), then Seven wouldn't have had authority to set off the explosion.
It's impossible for Sean to be Ten and for Cavil to be alive. So the only question is whether Seven is alone or accompanied by a (somewhat surprised) Ten.
Please note that anyone in this set could be Ten: {redrun, RevHempus, Unagi, purge, Bakhtosh}. Neither mipe nor I can be Ten, since we've both been scanned as Human. Scoop could also be Ten, I suppose, if he's not Seven; but since we're about to kill him, that's a moot point.
Apollo is probably dead; he would've contested stessier's brief Apollonian hint otherwise. So Apollo must've been Semaj or Mr Bubbles. Claimants should be tried by fire.

Scoop walks back into the conference room.
He notices Grund is now standing on the conference table proclaiming to those seated there. Unagi sits directly under Grund staring at him with bright eyes and nodding vigorously like a terrier puppy. Chaosraven and Bahktosh are at the end of he table in a very quiet conversation. Revhempus is at the other end of the conference staring off into space and bobbing his head. Mipe is still curled up under the conference table snoring loudly.
"Ahh, looks who has come to join us." Grund announces grandly, "You're just in time to hear my grand statement of how we rid ourselves of the Cylon menace that inhabit this freighter with us."
Scoop ignores Grund and says, "Ok, I know I hear something. Its like a ..."
"Like a tune?" Unagi finishes Scoop's statement.
"Yeah. But, more like a song, some like ... " Scoop hums something.
"Yeah, I have been hearing it too." Unagi turns to Rev and shouts, "REV!!!"
Rev pops out of his trance and looks in Unagi's direction, "Huh, What?". Small ear buds drops of our Rev's ear and music can be heard coming from them.
"Turn down your I-Pod!" yells Unagi.
Grund signs dramatically, "Can we please get back to my proclaimation?"
Unagi turns back to Grund and nodds eagerly as Scoop heads back to his bunk shaking his head.

Well, glad to see Grund is back and glad to see we have good odds of winning. I'm not a cylon but I do think the strategy is sound. My bet is the Cylon #7 is Rev. I won't say who I think Cylon #10 is since there is a chance he still hasn't been activated. Remember, kill the quiets so you don't have to deal with them at the end of the game.
I did consider voting for myself at this point but I didn't want to incurr the wrath of Remus West (even posthumorously) so I will leave it to you guyz.

If you turned out to be human (or latently Cybernetic), I guess my top suspect then would be Unagi. Even so, I think we should kill from the left and scan from the right.
Am I remembering/interpreting correctly that when Athena goes under deep cover to self-protect, she cannot scan?
What is the argument at this point for hiding Baltar and Starbuck and Tory?

Since it doesn't change anything at this point,
I'm Starbuck.

Then it's time to play chicken with the one(s) left. Round and round she goes, who she protects, nobody knows.

You do realize that if you are Starbuck you could have done that WITHOUT announcing your role. Right?Bakhtosh wrote:Then it's time to play chicken with the one(s) left. Round and round she goes, who she protects, nobody knows.
Lassr, please make my death interesting. I'd like a space funeral like from Wing Commander III. Grund can give my euology and Unagi can cry and say, "I wish I had take more time to get to know him." Bahktosh can turn traitor after hearing "Heart of the Tiger".

It's more fun this way though. =)
And despite my requests, we still haven't outed any of our other specials. We need to know what roles are left out there. Maybe they were hiding to give Starbuck some room to hide in. Now I've removed that incentive.
I was a proven human. The cylons were likely to tag someone from that group anyway. Nothing's changed that. Mipe, Grund, Me.
