I hope that the more people start to focus on the November election they will see Trump’s erratic behavior and mental slippage. I also hope he has at least one criminal trial start before the election and more dirt comes out.

It's still a coin flip at this point. 2020 was basically down to about 45K votes and you know the Trump campaign will lie, cheat, and steal to get the tactical victories. Social media is going to be a shitshow.

Yeah, how many previous Biden voters stay home vs how many previous TFG voters have died in key states. As it stands today, it will be about voter turnout for which side. And then comes the cheating. The GOP as an organization have shown they are bound and determined to cheat wherever they can get away with it and we have to rely on the honesty of individuals within that organization, like we did it 2020.

That's my thinking as well, and over 20M people have reached voting age since 2020. I can't see them breaking for Trump.

If polling is to be believed, 8.5M of them would vote for Trump. Even if it's not to be believed, there's no reason to think they would vote too out of line with their geographical demographic. If all the young Biden supporters are moving to blue cities, their vote is essentially changes nothing as far as the presidential election goes. In 2020, 18-29 made up 17% of the vote. Essentially they'll just cancel out 65+ in 2024.

Biden won moderates and independents by double digits in 2020. I really don't see that changing, and if anything it should be worse for Trump.

I agree, this election is going to be decided on turnout. If turnout is the same as 2020, Biden wins handily. I think the "voter apathy" argument is valid, but I also think it hurts both candidates. And probably hurts Trump more than Biden. I think Democrats, as a whole, even if not excited about Biden will still turn out to make sure Trump doesn't win. I don't necessarily see the reverse happening for Republicans who are lukewarm on Trump.
