 Yeah, but why not from Newcastle's perspective? It worked (in conjunction with our unfortunate CR train) to get out the emperor last time - why not try for Thrawn as well, since Newcastle's going down anyhow?

Anyhow Thrawn, if you are out there, don't come out. You now have even more proof (beyond the crazy straws that he's throwing out) that Newcastle is a rebel, so there's no need for you to stick your neck out.

It is interesting on tru1cy's part, however.

Unagi stands up on the table. "Your useless chatter will end, NOW! You have failed me for the last time." Stunned, every person in the room (that is conscious) is gripped by a paralyzing fear while desperately hoping that this menacing figure doesn't mean them. Unagi reaches out his hand and Qantaga slowly rises up off the floor clutching at his throat. There is a collective sigh of relief, mixed in with the choking sounds coming from Qantaga's struggling form. Within a few seconds Qantaga's limp body is then tossed to the floor. Everyone in the room comes to the same stunning conclusion, Unagi is Darth Vader and Qantaga is dead.

Lord Mortis rushes over to the Qantaga's body and searches the pockets. He finds a missive that states Top Secret at the top and quickly opens it. "Hey guys, this is a Rebel document. Qantaga was defintely a Rebel.

What if El Guapo is lying? Let's take a look.

Votes to lynch Scoop Day 2, in order to spoof role of Jabba the Hut today.

Says he's Jabba *immediately* today, and says that Scoop was Han Solo, and his scan of Newc says that the latter is Leia.

El Guapo:

1. Risks being counter-claimed by the real Jabba by coming out (risk mitigated if stessier was Kenobi'd Night 2 and was the real Jabba, or if Lassr was scanned Night 1 and revealed as Jabba) Chance of mitigating factors? Slim.
2. Risks being counter-claimed by Tarkin from the Empire, who with one body to scan on Night 2 scanned Scoop and knows Scooper's identity.

I believe it highly, highly unlikely that El Guapo would have risked this play if he was a Rebel. There's nothing to gain from it (Rebels cannot trade 1:1 with the Empire, and that's all this gives them if Guapo is faking.)

Newcastle, I simply don't believe you.

Also, here's a crazy idea: why don't we just search everyone for rebel documents? Seems like that would be a more sensible solution here than killing people and then searching them for rebel documents.

That would make sense. Also potentially good news is that as long as Luke hasn't hit Mara yet, that would guarantee that she would stay an imperial. Though I don't know how we would determine that for sure.

Anyhow, unless Greedo's around I don't think Newcastle is getting shot

Read the roles and rules, folks, and the method of Qantaga's death.

Assuming Guapo is correct:

Scoop-----Han Solo
Qantaga----Luke
Newcastle----Leia
???---------R2, but now unpowered.

The Rebs may have only 2-3 more powered players in, from a pool that includes Kenobi, Karrde, Chewie, Lando, Yoda, and perhaps Mara Jade.

Scoop was Han (according to El Guapo).
Scoop wanted (NEEDED) to be SHOT, not lynched. I don't think Scoop wanted that attention at all.

Everyone should go back and just even re-read pages 3-10.... Read it thinking:

Qantaga is Evil.
Triggercut is misguided
Newcastle isn't misguided - and is evil.
Scoop would be happy to be shot, but not lynched
CR is good.
El Guapo is good.
Stessier and Lassr - both good.

I think reading just those pages shows A LOT. It is what lead to my list, and it is what lead to my choice to shoot Qantaga.

This also means that three of the presumably 7 rebels are leia used, luke dead, and R2 used.

Or El Guapo and Newcastle are both rebels and they proved Remus and used up Leia's ability to hide El Guapo like Balwathan Spy but that would take some balls because if Gran Moff Tarkin came out now that would surely nail two rebels to one imperial.

IN FACT, if you were Newcastle, and you KNEW you used the "blue in the face" hint, wouldn't you have been very careful not to carelessly use that phrase again, in it's natural form? I am pretty damn sure I would be careful about that.
