and yes, i realize for all intents and purposes that trigg is most likely imperial...though he's played a helluva rebel hand.
That is not dead which can eternal lie, and with strange aeons bring us some web forums whereupon we can gather

Awesome. Except for the part where we proved that Trig was Dooku yesterday via his secret vote. But hey, nice try at getting another imperial lynched.Newcastle wrote:actually trigg...i have half a mind to get you lynched...leading a train on the emperor and then to me...just because someone comes out and claims something first thing int hte morning doesnt mean its necessarily true.

I think we're at 16 players, so no.El Guapo wrote:Also, here's a crazy idea: why don't we just search everyone for rebel documents? Seems like that would be a more sensible solution here than killing people and then searching them for rebel documents.
By the way, does this change the voting majority?

Unagi, what the hell?!?!?!
I mean, nice play, but wow.
I find your lack of faith disturbing.El Guapo wrote:Unagi I'm curious - how did you choose Qantaga? But in any event, well done!
That would make sense. Also potentially good news is that as long as Luke hasn't hit Mara yet, that would guarantee that she would stay an imperial. Though I don't know how we would determine that for sure.triggercut wrote:Aha.
Qantaga was Luke Skywalker.
Nice.
Rukh is revealed when he kills so is provable and by extension Thrawn is provable.theohall wrote:Not if a rebel claims to be Rukh and "proves" him.coopasonic wrote:I was quoting you for the "I'm not sure where we are" on the count part. Actually, I'm not at all sure on that.triggercut wrote:Aha.

Nice.
Scoop was Han (according to El Guapo).triggercut wrote:If Scoop meant to come out Day 1, theohall and coopasonic are now on the highly suspect list.
OK, suddenly Unagi's list should get more cred amongst the imperials (I say despite being on it). He has some good instincts.Unagi wrote:Actually, I'm not at all sure on that.triggercut wrote:Aha.

I can tell you all that RMC and Newcastle do not buy their Power Converters at Toshi Station.
I don't know who the hell Qantaga was, but he clearly wasn't Imperial.
So, I may indeed still be a 'seer' of sorts... but I may not be... cause - well, Qantaga may very well have been Luke.
i said that tongue in cheek considering your bandwagon on CR and now on me...basically your rebel sniffer is off. And probably a dose of frustration at being set up like this.triggercut wrote:You think it's "most likely"?Newcastle wrote:and yes, i realize for all intents and purposes that trigg is most likely imperial...though he's played a helluva rebel hand.

Oh Newcastle.
With rules clarifications that:
1. Yoda cannot vote for a Rebel, and
2. R2 having fired his shot and proven as such on Day 1, and
3. Scoop lynched at N-1
Please explain how I might *not* be an Imperial.
unless he has no fear of being counter claimed? Ever though of that Trigg?triggercut wrote:What if El Guapo is lying? Let's take a look.
Votes to lynch Scoop Day 2, in order to spoof role of Jabba the Hut today.
Says he's Jabba *immediately* today, and says that Scoop was Han Solo, and his scan of Newc says that the latter is Leia.
El Guapo:
1. Risks being counter-claimed by the real Jabba by coming out (risk mitigated if stessier was Kenobi'd Night 2 and was the real Jabba, or if Lassr was scanned Night 1 and revealed as Jabba) Chance of mitigating factors? Slim.
2. Risks being counter-claimed by Tarkin from the Empire, who with one body to scan on Night 2 scanned Scoop and knows Scooper's identity.
I believe it highly, highly unlikely that El Guapo would have risked this play if he was a Rebel. There's nothing to gain from it (Rebels cannot trade 1:1 with the Empire, and that's all this gives them if Guapo is faking.)
Newcastle, I simply don't believe you.
Nice. That's gotta hurt. I assume that Q was Luke. Then the next question is do we have Mara and was she converted? If that's a yes and then a no then things are looking up for the Empire.bb2112 wrote:Unagi stands up on the table. "Your useless chatter will end, NOW! You have failed me for the last time." Also bear in mind that it's not just a 1:1 trade in Newcastle's scenario. They would be giving up one wolf, AND using up Leia's ability, AND proving Remus, in exchange for getting Newcastle.triggercut wrote:I believe it highly, highly unlikely that El Guapo would have risked this play if he was a Rebel. Newcastle, I simply don't believe you.
But if Karrde IDed Newcastle as our (serial) protector it could be worth the trade so they don't have to worry about protection anymore. The "blue" comment could certainly be a hint. Who really says that?El Guapo wrote:Also bear in mind that it's not just a 1:1 trade in Newcastle's scenario. But on the other hand, Newcastle used the expression "blue in the face" yesterday. So there's that.
what wearing a name tag w/ "Admiral THrawn" on it would have been over the top? I wasn't going to come out and say who i was; i kind of had to slyly hint at it, should something like this come up.El Guapo wrote:Also bear in mind that it's not just a 1:1 trade in Newcastle's scenario. um...lots of people? It's not exactly an archaic expression. That said, I am curious whether he used it colloqually yesterday or whether he was intentionally setting up a Thrawn fake. Not that it matters much.coopasonic wrote:But if Karrde IDed Newcastle as our (serial) protector it could be worth the trade so they don't have to worry about protection anymore. Or El Guapo and Newcastle are both rebels and they proved Remus and used up Leia's ability to hide El Guapo like Balwathan Spy but that would take some balls because if Gran Moff Tarkin came out now that would surely nail two rebels to one imperial.El Guapo wrote:Also bear in mind that it's not just a 1:1 trade in Newcastle's scenario. I will bet that Newcastle really regrets that he also used that phrase at a time, naturally, when he clearly wasn't in any position to "drop any hints" as he was already being called out by El Guapo.coopasonic wrote:The "blue" comment could certainly be a hint. Who really says that?
IN FACT, if you were Newcastle, and you KNEW you used the "blue in the face" hint, wouldn't you have been very careful not to carelessly use that phrase again, in it's natural form? I am pretty damn sure I would be careful about that.Newcastle wrote:fascinating....i am empire, and i will continue to claim that until i am until i am blue in the face. And death will prove that.
Fascinating play El Guapo...fascinating.
Newcastle wrote:I really really want to see CR lynched. I think his comment is the best we have to go off of today. But ui am getting blue in the face repeating myself.
here's the quote....lets see if you can find it.Newcastle wrote:fascinating....i am empire, and i will continue to claim that until i am until i am blue in the face. And death will prove that.
Fascinating play El Guapo...fascinating. Why me? Why come out and claim i am leia...nice bit of theatrics there zinging remus to prove that leia is in the game? But why target me? Care to answer that?
I am not leia...and el guapo must surely be a rebel....but which one?
And why claim Jabba El guapo? Along with a neat claim that scoop = han. Intersting play...very interesting.
I'd advise not to vote for him...since i am afraid he'd go boom. In fact i'd suggest that we wait until nightfall to see who survives the night..but i am pretty certain i will survive tonight. If i survive this frame job.
So elguapo...who might you be? Eh? Leia? Chewie? Han?
I find it exceptionally odd that you are asking these bizarre questions to your accuser - as if he (as a Wolf) would answer them.Newcastle wrote:my question still is this ELG- why come after me? Did you know I was thrawn? Or was it just the fact that i was an easy target...
