I really don't like the train on Moliere and I'm not really into Scooping a 2nd person in a row

Either he's the wolf or the last wolf if in the 3 of you voting, that's my guess right now.

Depending on who Grund was we can be in a rough spot.
If the remaining wolf is the +1 vote wolf while we have 2 misses left one vote in the wrong place tomorrow is game over if we screw up this vote.

If the remaining wolf is the seer we can take it to a coin toss in two days...

Would a non-voting wolf scoop Moliere? Would he be on the vote at all?

Moliere, Remus and I aren't voting right now, obviously Moliere isn't going to commit suicide so it leaves me and Remus.

Gahhhh :grund: :grund: :grund:

Moliere offed BB ...
Unagi - Punisher and myself weren't on the vote...

Unagi - Scoop and I pushed Grund to -1 (with Holman on the vote) and Scoop being the -1 vote until he removed it.

Look. There is only one wolf. I have no clue who it is but I think we need Remus to at least toss a vote down before I'm going to switch my vote. It's a shame because Remus usually has the time to devote to the game but RealLife comes first.

I am tempted to vote for him just to give him the break he needs. He could be the final wolf. I felt good about my newcastle and Archinerd votes. I was really unsure about BB2112 and Grund. Thus, I really shouldn't be going with my gut.

Ok, lets see if this is in fact a bb2112, Grund, Remus sandwich.

I'm fine with you folks switching to me but the little time I have had to reread still convinces me that Unagi is the final wolf. The interchange between he and Grundbegriff comes across as false with the idea that they could then easily get me lynched. I'd bet that Unagi is the final wolf with a +1 vote ability.

 Unagi

If we miss today we still have time tomorrow to lynch Unagi but we do not have room for even one misplaced vote if I'm right.

Either way though, if I'm right and he wins I get to lord it over you all and if I'm right and he loses I get to lord it over him so....win/win for me in that scenario.

Anyway, if you feel you need to take me out first then please lynch him tomorrow.

Re: The Parasite -Day 3

Post by Lassr »

Most of the day was spent contemplating life, playing games of Solitaire, and occasionally chatting about the Alien problem.

People kept waiting on Remus to pitch in his thoughts but he just kept his head down on the table in the far corner. Never saying a word.

The votes started switching to him, might as well put him out of his misery, when someone thought they heard him vote for Unagi. It was rather muffled as his head was still down.

Moliere steps forward, "I think he said to vote Unagi, but not really sure. Did anyone make that out?"

Vorret shrugs his shoulders, "It was a mumble that came from that direction. He hasn't moved though, not for hours. It sure sounded like vote for Unagi."

"Meh, I'm sticking with Remus." Scoop states.

"Fine, Remus it is." Moliere places the final vote.

Unagi walks over to administer the drug. He grabs Remus by the shoulder and he still does not move. He jerks harder and Remus falls from the bench into the floor. He was already dead. That's when they notice something in his mouth. They pry his mouth open and see something rather large lodged in there but cannot see what it is in the fading evening light. Unagi grabs a nearby fork and pries on the object. It jets out of the mouth and lands in a heap on the floor. It was a parasite but it was already dead. It was must have died sometimes during the day, judging by the stiffness of Remus body, it had to of been several hours ago. Punisher speaks up, "I don't understand, how could he have spoken if he was dead?"

"I...I have no idea? Maybe our minds were playing tricks on us." Vorret stammers, unconvinced about his own statement.

The survivors disperse to their homes hoping it is over but unsure. They lock their doors and wait through the night. Punisher plays a video game, Vorret prepares a meal of Poutine, Unagi continues writing his memoir about this ordeal, Moliere watches a replay of a hockey game, and Scoop sits down to talk to Woody, his ventriloquist doll, he created a few years back. "We survived Woody."

Woody's mouth moves, "Yes, we did. It was touch and go there for while Scoopy. I love you."

"I love you too Woody." Scoop curls up and goes to sleep cradling Woody.

The night passes uneventful. The Alien parasite threat is over.

Town folk wins!
