My editors did take out my reference to Kellyanne Conway as "Lich Barbie" but otherwise..enjoy.

The stupid claim about TIME magazine is just the latest example. "I was contacted about being Man of the Year but turned it down" would have had a chance in the business meetings and celebrity interviews and power lunches of the 1970s-1990s, but in the internet age (when TIME itself can prove the claim is nonsense) it just reveals Trump's absurd, neurotic narcissism and dishonesty.
No worries. Koch Bros are on it. Making a bid to buy Time magazine today. I understand that part of the contract terms include Trump being voted Man of the Year every year going forward.

So Trump is now claiming that the Access Hollywood tape was a fake.
I have no words. This timeline is off the rails.

He gets away with everything he does so I'm not surprised by anything at this point. It's not the first time they have video or sound evidence of something and he just denies it. It's kind of fascinating to see how he pulls this shit over and over.

At least he left out Fox so it could be a fair and balanced battle for Faux news supremacy.

Philly
James D. Schultz, a senior associate White House counsel for President Trump until last week, has returned to the Philadelphia-based law firm Cozen O’Connor as chairman of its government and regulatory practice.

Schultz, 45, a former general counsel of the commonwealth, was appointed a special assistant to Trump shortly after the inauguration in January. His portfolio in the counsel’s office included compliance with ethics regulations — making sure presidential appointees across the government reported their financial holdings, divested themselves when required, and avoided conflicts of interest.

Schultz also handled infrastructure and government contracting issues, and helped in the vetting of Trump nominees for U.S. attorney and federal judge positions.

“The job and the people I worked with were as interesting as could be, and it was rewarding to serve,” Schultz said in an interview. “It was amazing walking those halls, with all the history there. The last day was a tough one.”

I pray that one day everything just circles back and wipes him out. His family included. Nothing would make me happier than to see them broke and in jail. What a sad piece of trash we have in office. He tops himself every damn day.

Once you realize that he is more like America's Mascot instead of our President, it all makes so much more sense. Think about how he acts, particularly when there are cameras rolling. In his mind, being President is like filming commercials for the latest season of The Apprentice - be outrageous, be over the top because that's the public wants. He has absolutely no idea what's involved in governing or being the leader of a nation. But tell him to jump in a truck and grab the wheel or toss some paper towels? That's his skill set. He never wanted any of this and he's just as amazed it's still happening as we all are - despite his every effort to not give a crap about any of it.

Does that even need to be said?! It's blatantly obvious what a great President he is, and a resounding success on pretty much every metric. His swamp draining behavior, as promised, is a particular bright spot in what will surely be on record as one of the greatest administrations the country has known. Truly, he is a great President, a great man, and a great role model for all of us to aspire to on multiple levels.

I have no words. This timeline is off the rails.
More on this.

Sources are saying that Trump has been privately denying that the Access Hollywood tape is legit (despite his own prior admission and Billy Bush's corroboration). He's also back to casting doubt on Clinton's vote totals and even flirting again with open Birtherism.

It's only going to get worse. Trump says and believes whatever he thinks makes him look good. As Mueller backs him into a corner, his denials of reality will become more and more outrageous.

This is no joke. Trump is straight-up retweeting white supremacist propaganda this morning.
The videos were originally tweeted by Jayda Fransen, who is the deputy leader of the ultranationalist Britain First Party, which is often accused of having an anti-Muslim bias.

The first video retweeted by Trump appears to show a young mean assaulting another man on crutches, with the caption, "Muslim migrant beats up Dutch boy on crutches!"
A subsequent video shows a man smashing a statue of the Virgin Mary, with the caption "Muslim Destroys a Statue of Virgin Mary!"
The third tweet shows a mob pushing a person off of a roof.
Fransen is famous for her racism and religious bigotry. Her "Britain First" party is associated with right-wing violence, including the assassination of Labour MP Jo Cox in 2016.

This is disgusting.

Our only hope is that he's going off the rails because he knows something we don't about where Mueller is.

Thing of the past? I have a feeling this is going to be the new normal, potentially even after Trump leaves office. It's working too well to abandon, which is massively depressing.

I fear this is accurate too - at least for awhile - this is now an open attack on our Democracy. This couldn't be clearer and the Republicans are only it to help loot our country.

It appears that way. They've taken the checkmark away from people like Laura Loomer, Richard Spencer (who almost quit Twitter over it), and James O'Keefe, amongst others.

It's a shame Mike Cernovich and Jack Posobiec haven't met that fate yet.
