I wish they'd stop putting young people in movies. Nobody knows who they are and there's nothing interesting about them. This movie is more up my alley.

Old people don’t go to the movies unless they want to use the air conditioning.

Not true! We also go on Thanksgiving Day and Super Bowl Sunday because nobody else is there.

Kind of hard to go to the movies when everything is closed.

Helen Mirren would like a word.

I have approximately zero interest in seeing a naked Helen Mirren.
A co-worker watched this. She reports that while The Shat looks remarkably good for his age, the movie is absolute garbage, and not in a fun way.

Nonsense, unless you're referring to Vin Diesels abs, then yes 32 pack abs is too many.

Aww The Tivoli Theater in downtown Chattanooga is going to show the original Star Wars trilogy this week. That place is historic. Was built in 1921 and was the first building in the south to have air conditioning I think. Was a big advertisement for it.

Yeah, I think our local multiplex has only been open briefly this summer, but it's been closed since February due to lockdown and such.

Then put on some clothes, for Christ’s sake.

It looks really good... but I'm honestly not sure what it's trying to do. Now, I'll admit it's been a while since I saw the original (I need to do so again), but this seems like it's the same movie. If it was a game, I'd call it a remaster. I was expecting it to be set in the modern day... something.
It may still be spectacular, but I'm not sure why it needs to coexist with the original.

Bernardo was played by George Chakiris, of Greek extraction. The new actor is David Alvarez, a Canadian actor of Cuban extraction.
