I read that it was moved so it wouldn’t conflict with the OSU vs Oregon football game.

This makes room for Yu Darvish in the rotation, who otherwise couldn't crack the lineup. Fingers crossed.

I learned to hate the Yankees during the Steinbrenner years. They were the first to try to buy a championship.

But now I think I have grown to dislike teams that just pocket their money instead of investing it back into the team.

I just hate the way the Dodgers did it this year. It feels like cheating.

Also, I HATE HATE HATE the dodgers. Waiting for the eventual choke job, but the chances are getting slimmer

I do think that the smaller/mid-market teams could likely put more of their revenue into player salaries even if they can't reach the level of the top markets. The whole financial world of sports is irredeemably broken at this point, though. Owners make too much, players make too much, tickets cost too much. At least I get bombarded by gambling options throughout the games I watch, so that's fun.
