It's an embarrassment. The president trolling should not be a source of pride.Rip wrote:I look forward to the Annual Trump Awards.
Me too. At least he won't be trying to govern while he does them.
Just be grateful there weren't actual Soviet style Purges. It's a much gentle authoritarianism. Now get back to your Facebook.Zarathud wrote: Tue Jan 02, 2018 9:33 pm Trump took out the people who can make policy and think for themselves, rather than the followers and asskissers. He went for inefficiency, not reform.
Trump doesn't like Reform, only Cuts!
Careful. The last thing we need is Trump hearing someone else did authoritarianism bigger and better than he's doing it.LawBeefaroni wrote: Wed Jan 03, 2018 10:28 amJust be grateful there weren't actual Soviet style Purges. Good idea, I think I will nominate you for Candian of the Year.

I need to see more information because I'm having trouble understanding this sentence:The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will now permit churches to request government aid following hurricanes Irma and Harvey, The Associated Press reported. Private nonprofit organizations that were damaged on or had pending requests as of Aug. 23, 2017, may receive some aid, according to the report.
Three churches in Texas sued FEMA last year after suffering damage during Hurricane Harvey.President Trump in September tweeted his support for the churches.
"Churches in Texas should be entitled to reimbursement from FEMA Relief Funds for helping victims of Hurricane Harvey (just like others,” Trump tweeted.
Why would churches be applying for a small business loan? Either way. Immigrants, children or refugees that don't pay taxes, GTFO out with your aid requests. Churches? Please do enjoy.Aid is restricted to expenses that a loan from the U.S. Small Business Administration will not cover, the AP noted.
Well, nearly everyone who got money after Hurricanes Irma and Harvey got it in the form of a low interest loan from the SBA. I live in Florida, and the process here was to first apply for aid from FEMA. They'll look over your application, and if approved you would be eligible for a loan from the SBA.Smoove_B wrote: Wed Jan 03, 2018 1:46 pm Tax exempt churches now eligible to receive taxpayer funded aid via FEMA.

(We won't win in court, so we're passing this to DHS and hoping our political hacks there can make something of this.)Statement by the Press Secretary on the Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity
“Despite substantial evidence of voter fraud, many states have refused to provide the Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity with basic information relevant to its inquiry. Rather than engage in endless legal battles at taxpayer expense, today I signed an executive order to dissolve the Commission, and have asked the Department of Homeland Security to review these issues and determine next courses of action.”
