d) if someone else re-posted it and that's the one he shut down, why on earth would he care? Posting it on Youtube means it's out in the wild. Forever. He could spend the rest of his days trying to track it down to keep it from being posted, but he'll never stop it from showing up, again and again and again.

I get it that he made the thing then posted it on the internet. It's still his, but only in theory. It now "belongs" to anyone who wants it. None of which explains why he'd pull it from one youtube posting only to leave it up at another.

Lastly, was the original link in this thread not to a the video posted by bigrob? Looking at the comments I would have sworn it was, even though the URL is different. I'm confused and frightened by this exertion of copyright enforcement.
