I don't know why you think I've been absent, my last two posts were on the previous page. I haven't seen a convincing argument in favor of anybody at this point, but I feel pretty comfortable taking a risk.

I was simply trying to figure out who I could trust. I was as blind as the next guy, since I was never part of the "inner circle", and no one PMed me but Remus way back on Day 1 when he tried to get me to pretend to be the snaresman (I never could get the logic straight on that to make it work, and didn't do it), and Chaosraven a couple of days later asking me why I didn't go through with Remus's plan.

switching my vote to Pr0ner but you have 2 comments on page 31. Its page 33. You have definitely been more quiet in this game. Its interesting though that you pick me instead of pr0ner who originally voted for you. Maybe Im wrong, but you're doing the same thing and voting for an innocent. So where does that leave us.

"You will pay for what you have done to Remus West and Lassr and Newcastle! You will pay!"

"But I haven't done anything to them."

"You will pay indeed! Filthmonger! Vile bladebearer!" Thus went the exchange of sentiments as the people marched a bound
pr0ner toward the Bankford Recess, where they intended to work upon him the same successful combination of justice and physics that had brought Orinoco to a rightful end.

"Are you sure this is the one?" asked the judge as they led the condemned toward his doom. "Yes," came the reply. "I found him kneeling in just the same way as Orinoco."

"Idiot! I was trying to find a coin I had dropped in the loose, dry soil!"

"Shut up, liar! You were kneeling in a trance! I saw you."

"Yeah, but did you know what you were seeing?"

The argument came to a sudden close as the group arrived at their destination, for not all was as they had expected. There, in the lowest part of the Low Place, lay the bloodied corpse of Chaosraven. With the shock of so foul and profane a sight, the enraged forest-dwellers dispensed with ceremony. One and another clawed cobblestones from the receding terrain and used those to pound and pelt the accused until the stoning had beaten the life out of him.

Only when the coin fell from his shattered, defiant grip did the people recognize that, once again, they had shed
innocent blood. Those who still held stones dropped them, and everyone retreated in haste, each to his home, to weigh these transgressions.
It is Nightfall.
Snaresman: Tell me whom you will protect.
Slayer(s): Tell me whom you will pierce.
Tracker: Tell me whom you will follow.

My love will weave a road anon

To paint a patterned path upon
And beckon me to follow.

To follow where he leads and when,
To wend a while wherever,
And I shall fain a patter pen,
Professing love forever.

Sing heather holly fair below, above a higher heaven.
A cloud, an air, a kiss, a prayer, a note, a promise given.

My song to savor shall I bring
By vale and wild and hollow
Upon his road embroidery sing
Of nightingale and swallow.

Oh, heather holly fair below, above-- no no! No! No! No! NO!! Please, n-

well as for paper thin evidence...tru1cy has been accused of acting out of character....

and then he promptly got back in character.....

so he must be guilty

So.... I suppose that means the tracker can still be alive.

Tru1cy,

I don't know if this matters to you or not but I do have a code CR gave me that the tracker would pass on to the scanee. If you have one you could send me the real one plus a bunch of fake ones you made up. I could then tell you which if any of the ones was the code I was given.

I don't have a strong lean any way at this point. More and more I'm feeling that PR_GMR was just nuts and that since he was obviously wrong about LordMortis being a slayer he was probably wrong about tru1cy as well.

I'm going to have to go back and reread some old posts.

This, however ,is interesting:
Against LordMortis(1): tru1cy
Against Kraegor(1): Bakhtosh
Against Bakhtosh(8): Silky, LordMortis, Austin, Ralph-Wiggum, Mr Bubbles, Chaosraven, Orinoco, pr0ner

Votes required for majority: 8

No vote registered: Cesare, Kraegor, McNutt, Newcastle
If we go with the idea that the slayers probably voted against Bakhtosh when they knew his death was inevitable (as you can see, Orinoco voted against Bakhtosh too), then we have a couple of interesting picks. Half of the voters are dead. That leaves (in order of vote) Silky, Austin, me, and Mr. Bubbles.

Of those 4, I obviously know that I'm innocent. Since the days/nights have been going pretty quickly and Austin has spotty internet access, it seems that he's probably not the slayer. That leaves silky and Mr. Bubbles.

I'm always uneasy about Mr. Bubbles. He's a sly one, and his avatar makes me wary.

There are some interesting facts about silky, on the other hand. For one, he's at least tangentially connected to the "inner circe"and he has admitted that he wasn't (at least at the time) scanned. He's also that last known connection to the inner circle that hasn't been killed. That in itself is a bit eye-raising.

I'm going to have to go back and read through some posts of him and Mr. Bubbles, but right now my main suspicions are on them two.

Might I remind you what you did to me last time we met. I had you in my sights and I let you slip through. So that being known you are by far not off the radar. Im not saying I'm going to vote for you, but you've out slyed me before.

Here's the issue. I'm not sure I can trust you. By keeping things secret the Forest Dwellers can lose. I'm actually going over scenarios in my head how this can play out, so I need sometime. I'm still waiting to hear back from a few players, so this turn might last a little long.
