Choas sure loves his night jibber Jabber?

Thinking this is your last night in town? I understand you finally went through and read everything, but thats a lottta crap for night time.

To answer your confusion, i'd love to claim I had Bubbled pegged from the get go, but me having him evil had nothing to do with the game as much as (starting on) Page 3, when he used Semajulated in a sentence. I announced he'd die day 1, and we bantered a bit around the time of my first list about who was posting and who wasn't, when I accused him the first time.

I'd like to claim super seer-like abilities to dig out wolves, but that was more a spite thing, which means I'm a friggin genius when it comes to having arguments with people in games and them being wolves...

Longest night ever...
Some claim to be things they aren't.
Some claim things they don't deserve.
Some claim to know more than they ever will.
I don't claim anything, because no one would believe the truth anyways.

Far as I'm concerned Day and Night, meh.

Unless you guys feel like hanging me, I'll be around. That's a load of notes from printed paper, linked (in some cases) to the stuff in thread, finally dumped into the thread.

Dawn rose over the village of Scooby's slowly dispelling the gloom of night. The darktime had passed slowly and the villagers, perhaps growing inured to the terror of their nights, seemed to wander the streets without fear. As the first rays of morn began to peel back the curtain of ink around the edge of the well they began to gather for the days activities. Once there they looked around at each other but sensed something was wrong. As one they looked to Mr Bubbles who sat on the edge of the well picking his teeth.
"What?"
Silence.
"What?"
More silence.
"Oh, come on. Those stares are just plain creepy. What do you want?"
Even more silence.
"Fine, but I'm not going. Check the edge of the woods."

So the villagers wandered over to the wood's edge where they saw the saw the clear brook running over the stones. The birds were singing in the fresh morning light. A stray dog was chewing on the remains of Scoop's arm. Chaosraven threw up. They all wandered back to the well where Bubbles sat drinking water and drawing lines in the dust with a twig.

"What?"

It is day.

I find it odd that the wolves would have picked Scoop. It seems clear to me that Scoop was spoofing a role. Good job wolves!

I'm not the were dog. Big shock there, right? Just a villager. A were dog, if other preparations were used up, will take a wolf with him if attacked at night - with 2 wolves unknown, attacking me at night would be foolhardy. Yet Kraegor never seemed to take that possibility into account when talking about the endgame. It seemed to me that he assumed I was lying about being a were dog. It's something that's been eating at me the last couple of days.

Why did I do it? Trying to get eaten at night, obviously. I was really hoping they'd off me last night. When I made my claim, everyone else had already chimed in - to either protest the plan or claim "not weredog". So I wasn't claiming the role before the real wolves had a chance to lie about it.

I really gotta think that Scoop was not a Special.

His announcment during the night would have been just royally foolish, so - I am going to guess that the wolves did indeed just get suckered into attacking him.

Good job Scoop! (unless you were a Special, in which case - yeeesh man.)

Hmm, Bakhtosh now backs off were-dog.

Gonna need to think about this.

Also, I don't understand why you are now cool with 'revealing it' as a lie. What, exactly, is the point in coming clean all of a sudden?

So, Bakhtosh - you realize that without you being a "were-dog" - and you accusing Kraegor of being "No Whore".... that would make Chaos a big ol' liar too.

So, according to your view, we have the grand total of 1 dead Blue Special, and 3 dead humans. That is at most 4 dead Blue Specials.

So, we should have 2 specials in this group (possibly as many as 5)

So what's left?
2 of the following -

Whore - chooses 1 player to be with during night. If chosen is targeted as kill by wolves, Whore dies. If chosen is a Wolf, whore cannot be target that night. If there is only a single wolf he will be to busy to make a kill that night (there will be no kill).
If we have a second, sleeping with Kraegor would have been a good choice to make yourself known

Seer - Scans for allegiance
If we have a second, that's four scans? vital info most likely

Herbalist - Can spread wolf bane around a players house at night (protector)
Presuming mipe wasn't being a total nut, two of these would have been wicked awesome

Wolfbane Holder - Can not be killed at night (always protected - can not be converted)
You'd think a guy like this would keep his mouth shut so the wolves might get a miss going after him

---------------------------------------------

Medium - Can talk to Dead via PM one dead person a night. Thus no spoilers for the dead.
--could have talked to Lassr and Grund by now (knowledge of roles)
Masons - Can PM freely between each other. # depends on # of players in game
--vouch for each other
Grave robber - Can learn the roles of the dead.
--would this be the whole collection of dead? very useful right now
miscreant - 2 votes, 1 of which is anonymous.
--very useful in these last days
Mathematician - Every night able to determine either the number of powered players remaining or the number of wolves remaining.
--this could give us enough to work off of to determine what has happened so far
Eavesdropper - Can stake out one person's house every night and determine whether or not they pm'd anybody that night. (Could be set off by wolves, medium, masons, etc)
--possibly useful
------------------------------------
Werewolf Hunter - Can shoot a player of his choice each day
If we had one, should have shot theohall
Weredog - Good, wins with village. Scans as wolf. Will kill one wolf if attacked at night (but dies in the process). The wolves may twice per game submit that they are attacking as though the target is the weredog when determining their night kill. If they are correct he will not be able to kill one of them as they are prepared for him.
If we had/have one, would you imagine 3 attacks of 4 might have used up the Prepared?

=====================

So with 2 misses however we slice it (Bubbles today, Bubbles tomorrow, etc)
What do we benefit from hiding our cards now?
"Where are you off to?"

I agree with Tru1cy. We need to force Kraegor to talk to someone else. Yes, I changed my mind as I have not heard him confirmed from a reliable source really yet. Anyone he talks to gives us information. If he talks to a wolf who denies him, we get the wolf. If he talks to a villager, unconfirmed or not, at least we can rely on Kraegor being confirmed or not. (Of course if he talks to a wolf and they confirm him, it's a tough call but it's still info)

I'll wait on my vote though in case anything fun happens.

10 - Bubbles = 9
9 - kill = 8
8 - lynch = 7 (Majority 5, 2 wolves)
7 - kill = 6
6 - lynch = 5 (majority 4, 2 wolves)
5 - kill = 4 Game Loss with 2 Wolves remaining.

----------------

10 - Bubbles and Zerk'd = 8
8 - kill = 7
7 - lynch = 6 (Majority 4, 2 wolves)
6 - kill = 5
5 - lynch = 4 Game Loss with 2 Wolves (Majority 3, 2 wolves)

---------------------------------

If Bubbles goes BOOM, the latter scenario will make it awful difficult on that Majority 3...

Why come out now? It's time we find out what we're dealing with. It's crunch time. I think we need any hidden specials to stand and be counted. With me in the mix, that throws the numbers off. I'm hoping that we have a couple of specials in the group of unknowns whose information when pooled with what we already know can help find us a wolf.

We need to have a really good guess about who to lynch today. If we can't come up with a really good suspect, we need to go ahead and off Bubbles.

Again, If Kraegor talks to ANYONE besides you and Bubbles, then it proves him. If he's a wolf, then you MUST be a wolf since there's been no conversion and he has spent the night with you. It doesn't matter who. It doesn't matter the reliability of this person. It just has to be someone besides you or Bubbles.

This would be the perfect game for the wolves to work in the "open" like you and Kraegor have. With the possibility of multiple roles, a wolf can fake a role and not be contradicted by a good guy unless he's scanned by the seer. The kill of a special on the first night would have given wolf CR the perfect opportunity to fake special.

That's why I think we need to out all of our specials. If the numbers don't add up, we need to know why.

10 - lynch = 9 (lynch CR)
9 - kill = 8
8 - lynch = 7 (lynch Bubbles)
7 - kill = 6 **
6 - lynch = 5 (Majority 4 with 2 wolves)

if Bubbles explodes - lynch = 6 (lynch Bubbles + Zerk)
6 - kill = 5 **
5 - lynch = 4 Game loss with 2 Wolves (Majority 3 with 2 wolves)

Then simple proof for Kraegor is to lynch me.

It would however count as a miss, leaving one chance

The Whore -
10 - lynch = 9 (lynch CR)
9 - kill = 8 (Kraegor talks to Bubbles - Safe)
8 - lynch = 7 (lynch Bubbles)
7 - kill = 6 ** (of 7 players, 2 are wolves, 1 is Whore, 4 remain) - 1/3 chance Kraegor finds a Wolf and is safe, 2/3 talks to another - 25% wolves get 2fer.
6 - lynch = 5 (Majority 4 with 2 wolves)

if Bubbles explodes - lynch = 6 (lynch Bubbles + Zerk)
6 - kill = 5 ** - (of 6 players, 2 are wolves, 1 is Whore, 3 remain) - 2/5 chance Kraegor finds Wolf/Safe, 3/5 talks to another - 33% wolves get 2fer. (assuming Kraegor was not Zerk victim)
5 - lynch = 4 Game loss with 2 Wolves (Majority 3 with 2 wolves)

Not good odds.

If you (as a wolf) were pretty sure Lassr was a special based on his posts, the opening was still there. Even if you were wrong, only an extremely unlikely mass outing on day 1 would have any chance of catching you.

The downside: if Kraegor or you ended up scanned, it would blow away both of you...actually, you being scanned might leave Kraegor some wiggle room.

It would be a masterpiece...the game of legends - to pull off such subtrifuge.

I vote: All Specials Reveal

I accuse:  Mr.Bubbles
