Nice of Larian to give us a treat on tax day. I already have my new party planned out, including:

Duergar (free invis at level 5) Barbarian with Path of Giants.

Duergar (hireling) Fighter with Arcane Archer.

Will spec out Asterion as a Rogue Swashbuckler.

Will most likely spec out Wyll as a Warlock Hexblade.

Waiting to see if they patched out any of the well known Act 1 exploits. I can get by without them but I need to know.

I just look forward to playing when I mostly know what I'm doing. I spent too many hours fumbling and bumbling while I figured out the basics on my first go.

Main Character: Hexblade Warlock
Respec Karlach: Champion Fighter or Way of the Open Hand Monk (possible even multiclass)
Respec Astarion: Swashbuckler Rogue, might throw in Ranger multiclass
Respec Shadowheart: War Cleric

I'm up to level 4 on my patch 8 playthrough, and I am happy to report 2 of my main Act 1 exploits still work:
Spoiler:
1. Attempting to trade a pact weapon where the trade goes through but you keep your weapon.

2. Obtaining the legendary silver sword by using command>drop weapon on Voss.
And I'm working on #3:
Spoiler:
Obtaining Raphael's Helldusk Armor by casting silence on him then knocking him out when he enters your camp.

While futzing around with character creation I decided I'm a half-elf cleric named Fauci, a healer who can hold his own in a fight, then played through the first three rooms. Here we go... :D

I spent >300 hours on my first playthrough. This time, I'd like to cut that in half. Or under 200 anyway. :)

YES! Item #3 is alive and well. Now I'm ready for anything.

I decided I didn't want to play a cleric and started over as a magic-using variant. The traits I enjoy most in RPGs are intelligence and dexterity, and I played a thief on my first go-round.

Supposedly the Bladeslinger Wizard is hot stuff. Not my cuppa, but you may want to try it.
