Re: Baldur's Gate 3
Nice of Larian to give us a treat on tax day. I already have my new party planned out, including:
Duergar (free invis at level 5) Barbarian with Path of Giants.
Duergar (hireling) Fighter with Arcane Archer.
Will spec out Asterion as a Rogue Swashbuckler.
Will most likely spec out Wyll as a Warlock Hexblade.
Waiting to see if they patched out any of the well known Act 1 exploits. I can get by without them but I need to know.

Re: Baldur's Gate 3
I just look forward to playing when I mostly know what I'm doing. I spent too many hours fumbling and bumbling while I figured out the basics on my first go.

Re: Baldur's Gate 3
While futzing around with character creation I decided I'm a half-elf cleric named Fauci, a healer who can hold his own in a fight, then played through the first three rooms. Here we go...
I spent >300 hours on my first playthrough. This time, I'd like to cut that in half. Or under 200 anyway.

Re: Baldur's Gate 3
I decided I didn't want to play a cleric and started over as a magic-using variant. The traits I enjoy most in RPGs are intelligence and dexterity, and I played a thief on my first go-round.

Supposedly the Bladeslinger Wizard is hot stuff. Not my cuppa, but you may want to try it.Kraken wrote: Thu Apr 17, 2025 1:39 am I decided I didn't want to play a cleric and started over as a magic-using variant.
