I feel like if we had more shooters than Vader (or at least ones that survived) that they probably would've taken a shot already. But who knows - we'll see I guess.

Vader - used
Mara - impossible with no emperor
Rukh - any time shot
Greedo - day shot
Boba Fett - one chance but requires protecting successfully and then identifying a rebel to get his shot
Seems there's a decent chance of there being another imperial shooter.
Rukh, kill someone.

While Rukh's description doesn't require him to shoot during the day, the turn order questions only ask "Rukh - who will you shoot?" during the day time, so I think it may be the case that Rukh can only shoot during the day. I guess I'll ask, though.
bb2112, are there time restrictions on when Rukh can shoot?

Oh, one other quirk in the rules that I noticed while looking at the shooters. Mara Jade's description says that (once scanned) she can take a shot without revealing her identity. However...she's the only shooter whose identity is not revealed by taking a shot. Which basically means...that her identity is revealed when she shoots.

Yes, Ruhk can only use his shot during the day.

Well we'd know that Mara took the shot but still wouldn't know who Mara is.

Ohhhhhh, that makes a lot more sense. For some reason I was thinking that we'd see (for example, no inside knowledge), "Grund has shot Kinectikid" without saying which role he is. But instead we'd see "Mara has shot Kinectikid" of course. That...makes much more sense.

The If is fairly critical there, wouldn't you say?
I mean, all of your other votes (Scoop & Newcastle) were prescribed by the game's events.
What this almost sounds like is that you know Bubbles (and perhaps even KK) are indeed Rebels, and you kinda want credit for those votes right now.

Nah Scoop's train was sorta fading (and did fade) and I didnt like ho it was going, so I wanted to put him back into the range of +1's to see if they balked again.
I agree with newcastles, but I mean if your gonna imply I have been voting poorly because I didnt like the rmc vote, I'ma point out what you think your saying and what I've done don't exactly mesh. Agreed, Kene and Bubs could very well be empire... they could be rebels, just saying if they are, i'm having another solid game.
Yet when the provens lead poorly, Remuscide and Unagiacide ... they seem to get mad the non provens are not doing enough.
Sometimes, you gotta remember, those of us who fly blind and have no way to prove ourselves are never 100 right. If it's my time in 2 days, its my time. I'd like the hope the other people who have very much seem and acted rebel might be a better offering than someone empire. But I mean if you don't want my opinion or are going to and fry me the second it differs from yours, dont be shocked when people pull a grund.

It is morning. Again. Still no rescue. It is now day 5, and it is getting on your nerves.
You all gather around the table for the morning ritual. Mr. Bubbles is the first to break the silence. “It is Pr0ner. He isn’t here.”
“Why Pr0ner?” Tru1cy asks.
Unagi says, “Never mind why, find him and let’s see if he is still alive.”
After a couple minutes of frantic searching, Theohall calls out from the Library, “Proner is in here. You all better come have a look.”
Everyone files in and sees Pr0ner laying peacefully in his bed. “I think his windpipe has been crushed,” says Theohall.
“Well put him in the cooler,” ordered El Guapo. “Can’t have him just lying around out here.”
Semaj and few others grab Pr0ner and take him to the kitchen. A couple minutes later they hear a shout from the cooler. Semaj is dragging RMC out by the scruff of the neck. “I found him hiding in the there.”
RMC stumbles out into the main room looking disheveled and quite miserable. “Would you believe I accidentally locked myself in there? Yeah, uh, it was just an accident. Uh, thanks Semaj for saving me. Yeah, uhm, can I get a warm cup of coffee?”
Pr0ner is DEAD and RMC is back.

checking in...
I wonder if pr0ner was scanned as Boba Fett or something... odd pick otherwise, I would say... but who knows.
So what's the general consensus today?
We all check in... if someone has a gun they shoot KK (or Grund).
If no shot is taken after that, we all lynch RMC and move on to the next day...

Yeah, that surprised me as well. I figured they'd off Unagi almost certainly, and if not Unagi then probably Remus.
In terms of shot - why KK and not Grund?

Well maybe they're playing a game of kill the people who aren't named in hopes of getting the big fish. It seems to make sense to me. They figure the big fish are hiding out.

Also possible that they have Talon Karrde and pr0ner scanned as a significant role.
This wouldn't be a bad time for Grund and/or KK to speak up in case we do have a shooter available, incidentally.

big fish.
Who's the big fish of the Imperials.
corpse scanner: Remus
Luke scanner: Unagi
Protector: Boba Fett (Thrawn, too, actually - spaced on him with that whole Newcastle thing... )
Shooter: Greedo/Rukh
In any case, the fact that I have been past up 2 nights in a row implies a couple possible things.
1) They found a protector / shooter and his abscence opens their game up, so they struck him down.
2) Qantaga
was Luke, and I'm basically like El Guapo to them; proven, but without power.
3) They just wanted to keep randomly looking for a protector / shooter.
I bet it's 1 or 2, and highly doubt its 3.

Definitely an odd choice.
As far as "we all check in", I would be surprised if that actually happened.
Anyway, yes shooter shoot so we can get to re-lynching. As far as who to shoot. I like Grund, but I guess KK works too.
Actually it doesn't appear to actually be day yet. *pokes sun* No opening day post from bb.

we are killing rmc I assume. DO we wanna discuss why pr0ner for a bit and what we want/expect the next few days or just launch him up?

That's my assumption. My next assumption is that they only role bigger than a known is a shooter. Even a protector is a gamble is a gamble over reducing your own hiding places.
Unagi wrote:I can't see any value in sitting on that information, Semaj.
I rarely get that either. Holding information is something you do for a team advantage later. But then he's just holding speculation. It just confuses me to bring it up and then stay secretive about it.
Anyhow, how long do we wait for kk or grund to speak up? I honestly believe we have a few days if necessary. I don't thing we'll have a problem lynching rmc by Wednesday.

Yeah, I'm highly confident that we could lynch RMC in a matter of hours once we decide to. Since he's an open rebel, there's no good reason for a rebel to not vote for him once the train starts - otherwise it's too obvious a reveal of rebelosity.

Yeah I think we should try to make something happen, with RMC being an easy option, or back up plan if we decide to not poke him for right now.

I'm always willing to claim not to be the bad guy, but from what i have seen lately the more aggressive people defend themselves the more likely they get killed anyway.
Nuff said either way.

Gonna disagree with you on the "nuff said."
Also not really true that there's a correlation between talking a lot and getting lynched. Coop's defended himself quite a bit over the past couple days, and (along with his voting pattern) has moved off the lynch short-list (at least in my mind). RMC barely defended himself, by contrast, and...
Of course, talking a lot has some risk if you're a rebel because there's a higher risk of inadvertently revealing incriminating information. Is that what you're worried about?

Concur with shooting someone, then lynching RMC. Do not intend to vote until someone is shot or it is clear no one will shoot.
