I stopped being interested in GalCiv when Stardock stopped being interested in the fact that they sold me a lot of games on Impulse, then took most of them away by cashing out and selling the platform to Gamestop.

Fair enough. I vaguely recalled not liking Stardock for some reason. That's probably the reason.
