Triggercut - If we shoot trig and he shows as human it gives us 2 things. First that Chaos was lying and is a cylon. Second it tells us that 1 of 3 doctors is lying. It also tells us that Apollo is dead. If he is a cylon we do get a cylon kill but it tells us nothing else. It does not prove that the docs are who they are.

Scoop- If we shoot scoop and he is human it tells us the following. 1 That either 1 of the 3 doctors is lying or that Trig is lying. It also tells us that Unagi is Cylon. It does not clear CR. Scoop being a cylon does not clear the other 2 doctors. One and only one could be a cylon.

Unagi - Shoot - Will show cylon Proves nothing
Chaos - shoot - Will show cylon Proves nothing
If we lynch either may explode. Proves 12 dead

As far as *your* role goes...

If you are a Doctor, then triggercut is lying or *2* of the Doctors are.
If you are Apollo, then triggercut is lying or you are.
If you are Athena, then 2 of the three of us are Lying.
If you are one of the 3 Bad Cylons, may as well tell us since the game ended seven pages ago and we are just going through the endgame writeup, good guys won.

I didn't see this covered in the rules anywhere.

No, you will not know. The doctor's have no reason to search for an explosive since they do not know it exists.

so I fall back to the position that causes the least amount of confusion. Killing the 4 proves nothing...they each nicely lead to the need to kill each other. It's a bloodbath which leads to 3 v 1 ship loses.

Killing Austin...in my mind distinctly clears up something and it happens with 1 kill. yes there's a downside. but the upside is massive.

We risk killing a villager no matter what. I'm simply skipping to the end. Instead of waiting until the last turn or when baltar is turned....i.e. 2 turns from now....lets do the LAST TURN.....RIGHT NOW.

And I'm sayin -- > Austin.

Killing Austin is not the Worst Play you could make.

Having stessier Lynched or Shoot himself is worse.

But your theory of killing Austin does not factor in triggercut claiming a Doctor is Lying, nor Scoops insisting that the One Guy who doesn't claim he is a Liar should be shot as #12.

So you say that as Noncommunicating Cylon, I state Austin is Human.
Therefore Unagi knows I am lying as he states Austin is Human, since he is in Communication with Austin and we both choose NonCylons to be the "Scans"? So you believe Athena was Remus and we took the Chance?

But again I ask, why would Bad Guys pull this ruse today and offer a Way Out (lynching and shot tomorrow)? Wouldn't Tomorrow have been the Correct Time to pull such a Ploy?

I did not allow them that luxury. If I had only 2 Humans as Scans I would have had to wait.

Is this just because it is Me?

Stessier(Helo) Makes a Move

Chaosraven steps forward and admits to being a Cylon but a Cylon that is here to help the human race and to prove his point he names another Cylon for termination, triggercut. Unagi then steps forward and does the same but he offers up Scoop20906. The confusion caused turmoil for what seemed like days although it had only been 6 hours.
Kraegor blurts out, “Kill’em both! They’re fracking toasters!”
“No, no! If one is truly here to help we must determine which is which. I, uh, I’ve heard that if a Cylon…uh well, is sexually aroused that their spine will light up.” Austin embarrassingly stammers.
“Oh, you got to be fracking kidding! You want us to frack a toaster to see if they light up!” Kraegor crosses he arms, “Mom always warned me about putting body parts in appliances.”
Ausitn speaks up again, “Look, let’s just put them in a room and some of us try to seduce them and see what happens.”
“Oh Frack this!” stessier steps forward, pulls a sidearm from inside his uniform and blows a hole in triggercuts chest. “I’ll be no part of Austin’s little perverted scheme and it end up getting broadcast across the fleet wide web...again”
Everyone stands there in silence, shocked at the turn of events.
“Stessier! Where did you get that sidearm!” Scoop20906 blurts out, “All weapons were collected the night of the first murder.”
“I have my own stash for just such emergencies.”
pr0ner steps forward, “What’s done is done, let the docs look at trggercut and determine if he’s Cylon. For your sake stessier, I hope he was.”
Whispers can be heard as they walk to their rooms, “Who was that? He said his name was pr0ner. I don’t remember him being on board.”

If Scoop is Human then you know Unagi is not athena and the Bad Guys have no reason to let me live.

If Scoop is Cylon and triggercut is Cylon, then Unagi cannot kill me without revealing himself as Cylon.

If Unagi is killed today, then remaining Cylon(s) (triggercut, Scoop, someone else) have no reason to leave me alive as I am uncontested.

Correct.

If two are still in contention tomorrow, the Bad Guys cannot kill Athena, nor can you trust either one more than the other.

If Scoop is Human we are still missing one Cylon.
If Scoop is Cylon, you must deicde between Unagi and Myself.

Actually, had you been revealed as Cylon, they would have all 3 Cylons.

But the point is moot.

The Ship will shortly discover we have killed one of the Bad Cylons and be able to assume Apollo was either Grund or Remus.

And triggercut will be wondering why the hell I scanned him last night.
