I understand so much now. And I was surprised about who the Fed are.
As an economist, this video cracked me up.
As a non-economist, I had to ask... "Who owns the Federal Reserve?" and they answered:
Spoiler:
The Federal Reserve System fulfills its public mission as an independent entity within government. It is not "owned" by anyone and is not a private, profit-making institution.
As the nation's central bank, the Federal Reserve derives its authority from the Congress of the United States. It is considered an independent central bank because its monetary policy decisions do not have to be approved by the President or anyone else in the executive or legislative branches of government, it does not receive funding appropriated by the Congress, and the terms of the members of the Board of Governors span multiple presidential and congressional terms.
However, the Federal Reserve is subject to oversight by the Congress, which often reviews the Federal Reserve's activities and can alter its responsibilities by statute. Therefore, the Federal Reserve can be more accurately described as "independent within the government" rather than "independent of government."
The 12 regional Federal Reserve Banks, which were established by the Congress as the operating arms of the nation's central banking system, are organized similarly to private corporations--possibly leading to some confusion about "ownership." For example, the Reserve Banks issue shares of stock to member banks. However, owning Reserve Bank stock is quite different from owning stock in a private company. The Reserve Banks are not operated for profit, and ownership of a certain amount of stock is, by law, a condition of membership in the System. The stock may not be sold, traded, or pledged as security for a loan; dividends are, by law, 6 percent per year.

One is Robby of course jumped further than a football field and the other is a jump up 5 stories...but then he just drops off those same 5 stories. Imagine missing that roof . And I cant imagine simply riding a motorcycle off a 5 story height.

I love that song.
If you like P!nk, there was a show on either VH1 or MTV called something like "In their own words" and it was an hour "concert" in a studio where she explained each song before singing it. I like her music anyway, but hearing the descriptions before hand made them even better.

A 1982 30 year look back at American Bandstand ....it shows old videos and has a lot of those performers there in the audience. Remember this is 1982 so it's been another 30 years since the video
A little extra.....after I saw that I remembered my love for Captain and Tenille

I love Lewis Black. It's been a few years since we've seen him in concert.

There's a guy I work with who could pass for Lewis Black's brother. Talks like him, rants about stuff like him. And it's entirely unintentional - I don't even know if he knows who Lewis Black is.

Re: YouTube videos - post'm if ya got'm nsfw possible.
Some of the changes I like like the lights and such. But it seems they went a little too warm and the panels and everyone's skin looks too pinkish or reddish. Maybe if I had not seen them side by side I wouldn't even notice the pink tint to the faces.
I must admit this is one of the cooler shuttle videos I've seen. Views I've never seen before. She looked so powerful and when she lit up she really took off.

I F'n love the part where the girl is changed and stands back up. She looks so damn cool as she turns her head to straight then starts sliding backwards singing divel is a loser. The song changes tempo right there. Pretty sweet.
