Re: Lynching Liaisons - Day 4
I'm not sure of the point of waiting but then I'm still happier voting against Grund (or vorret or lassr and I'd even hit scoop and perhaps RMC who remains a big ??? for me). I lost my purge lust (to prove bb2112 was a wolf) sometime after bb2112 was revealed as seer and I realized he had lost his lust for him... At the same time purge is essentially offline (personal problem (which I hope get better) or not)
If we go nowhere throughout the day I will consider this a done deal and the will of the bortherhood/mentalist/hunter and I will put the vote on him whether he shows up or not.
I'm not sure how long that will be. I get pretty bored and impulsive pretty easily, so I'm guessing it will depend on my workload for the day.

Doesn't matter if it's me or you LM he only needs one vote but I'd still like him to plead his case, we haven't had that opportunity in our last 2 lynches because or wolfmus.

Re: Lynching Liaisons - Day 4
not sure it matters if he shows up and talks, he's not going to claim a special role, they have all been taken by now. Only thing he can say is I'm a villager and maybe he will give us a suspect list that we can interpret hundreds of different ways according to his alignment.
The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.

Good point... he's either a villager or a wolf, nothing he says will actually change our mind on whether we lynch him or not.

Re: Lars Memorial Liaisons - Day 1
While looking at Purge stuff, I found this.... I need to rethink RMC and his possible guilt level.Bakhtosh wrote: Something about this post has been bugging me today, and I think I figured it out in the shower tonight.
At first, I thought it was, "I could vote for anyone except myself." That, in itself, is a wolfish thing to say. Or rather, it's a wolfish thing to think.
But the epiphany that came to me is about the first part, "I'm with triggercut, but just in his thoughts."
It sounds like he's claiming to be in communication with Trig. That seems awfully heavy-handed for a special powered on Day 1. I would hope the cabal, seer, and mentalist aren't throwing out clues like that (God help us all).
I'm debating on if this is a wolf throwing out false clues to use later to claim a role, or a sorcerer letting wolf Triggercut know that he was scanned and found last night.
Honestly, I'm leaning towards the second of those two. I feel pretty strong about lynching RMC, but if he's the sorcerer, he'll show up human. Same with Trig - if we lynch him and he shows up human, that doesn't tell us anything specific about RMC.
Something about Newcastle's haikus makes me nervous, but right now, I think we have a more likely threat in RMC and/or Triggercut.
Withdraw Newcastle
RMC
I'm switching my vote, but would be open to stretching the neck of either of these two. And just so we're clear, I'm not convinced that Newcastle is human, but I haven't seen anything from him that worries me as much as the post above.
Sufficient I am to the day.

Re: RE: Lynching Liaisons - Day 2
One of the first substancial posts from Purge. Looking back, there is a whole lot of bad in this post. (20/20 hindsight and all that). Remus wouldn't spoof a role that could be disproven (come forward and disprove it seer!), but he doesn't trust Remus, but the seer should stay hidden for a while longer. The seance stuff is good and what the village should be thinking (IMO). This could be a real villager talking, but could also easily be a wolf supporting Remus's move.purge wrote:Frankly this feels wrong. Remuswolf wouldn't be so stupid as to spoof a role that could be disproven, and since LL clearly is alive and well, at best guess NC could have been 1 of 3 cabal. IIRC LL confirmed he was not, do that leaves one person to spoof as the other two were evil.
I'm ok with voting, but the seance should be saved. The cabal will be around to answer the NC issue. I don't trust Remus. The only good Remus is a dead one.
If the seer is not remus then they are likely alive. this simplifies their job. if Remuswolf manages to kill one player in a false lynch, the game is big enough, and they are at such a disadvantage that we can afford it for the seer to scan tonight and possibly even tomorrow night before revealing.
If remus is the seer, we can look forward to him leading us to failure.

I still don't understand why I'm even a candidate.
We have so many better options , like Grund who's is nowhere to be seen AGAIN! Purge is also a ghost, good or not, they're riding the bus, providing us with nothing. Meh, I should have lynched purge earlier.

I'm not sure what you are reading into what I wrote - Purge moved up in my suspect list based on the post, not down. As for my vote - I don't think Vorret is going anywhere today, and I'm fine with that. I've yet to have a chance to continue reading on from page 11, which is where I left off on my last re-read, so I'm still short on putting new knowledge of the past 15 pages with old postings and seeing what stands out. I'm curious as to what a Purge vote would tell us. I'm hoping you'll make a stand as to whom you think should be lynched and why - with you being the generic unproven.RMC wrote:Actually I think this is a great point, and since we have timeredrun wrote:One of the first substancial posts from Purge. I am not a wolf, but if it is easier lynch me and move on. I don't want to be a distraction for the wolves to hide behind in the late game.
And redrun, I actually thought what you were saying about Purge, was he pointed out some good thoughtful data about Remus, that a wolf might not want to be attached to. I thought his post really did make some good points about Remus, and really mirrored my thoughts at the time. <shrug> It's Friday, so maybe my thought process is not working properly.

I'll put my vote back on him if that is what everyone wants.

Sorry purge, you we're the unlucky silent player in Remus list.
At this point we don't have much info to work with and the silent player (whatever the reason is) are hurting us. Sadly, I would have loved to see Grund in your seat but alas, that didn't happen.
