Supposed to be a sequel? I really liked the first movie.
Yes.
he sequel is based on the second part of the Fisherman's Friends true story about their struggles with fame, success, love, loss and navigating the bumpy road to the pyramid stage at Glastonbury Music Festival which they famously played in 2011.

I thought they already made a sequel to that long ago. Or maybe I'm thinking of another movie.

So this is Travolta lending his presence to one of the last Bruce Willis exploitation movies?
If Willis' family gets a big check, I guess that's OK. But there's no reason to market it.

Travolta isn’t exactly a hot commodity these days. Gotti and The Fanatic….he hasn’t made a movie that wasn’t panned in ages. I’m guessing he needs the money. After all, jet fuel ain’t cheap. And Xenu never chips in.

I didn't even realize it was Travolta until someone pointed it out.

Honestly, that kind of movie is best as a one off. It was all about the insanely ridiculous (and fun) twist.

Watched BARBARIAN last night as well. It was amazing, though it's the type of movie that would have been even better in a theater with a good crowd.

I was happy to see it on HBO Max last night in the Just Added section. I thought it would take longer. Gonna watch it tonight with some take out.

That guy looks like the same Nazi sympathizer that was on the first episode of GDT's Cabinet of Curiosities.

Looks like a remake of A Man Called Ove, which was based on the Frederik Bachman novel.

I've been waiting for this bigger than life story to get made into a movie. Don't get to see Bearcats very often either.

That does look good. I can't remember a recent Korean War movie focused on aviation.
I think James Salter's novel
The Hunters was optioned but hasn't been made into a film.

We finished this up tonight. It's really quite good. A bit over the top at times, but a really fun movie. Although I'm surprised they went with that ending.
