Lin Wood, the attorney who's been bringing Trump fraud cases with Sidney Powell, is stoking violence on Parler, where hundreds if not thousands of his followers are threatening flat-out massacre. Just a small sampling from today:

The funny thing is that he was filmed while he was actually signing the documents, and he got a phone call from Trump (we know that because he has said publicly that he made "Hail to the Chief" the ringtone for call's from Trump). He reached in his pocket for his phone and cancelled the call from the president. Hilarious!

Dan Rather posted this earlier today. Derpstorm likely incoming when it happens tomorrow.
There’s likely going to be a large shift towards Biden in the national popular vote tomorrow afternoon due to a quirk in the NYC election laws. The New York City Board of Elections is going to vote to certify the election results at their 1pm meeting, but due to some outdated administrative processes, the only results currently posted online are from in-person voting. We’re still missing the results of every vote-by-mail, which represent about 30% of the city’s vote total. These mail-in ballots have been collected and counted at warehouses throughout the city since Election Day. The Commissioners of the NYC BOE (a longstanding NY political patronage job) then have to meet and agree to certify the results before mail-in totals are updated on their website. They missed an original Nov. 28 deadline but they promise to certify tomorrow. It’s a slow and inefficient system but there is nothing nefarious about it.
I have no doubt that this will lead to the same calls of voter fraud from bad actors who have been at it for weeks. There will be all-caps tweets about the hundreds of thousands of additional votes added to the totals nearly a month after the election. These updated numbers should add to Biden's lead, with a combination of his strength in deep-blue NY along with the propensity of his voters to vote-by-mail. Tomorrow is just our notification of the official count. In nearly all cases, these ballots were correctly counted by BOE officials weeks ago.
Of course, New York missed an opportunity here to shut this down by providing real-time, or at least daily, updates. Still, if we all remember that these new totals are just the public notification of valid votes, our collective faith in our democracy will be better off for it.
It's crazy that NY is still counting votes, we are only lucky that the election results there are not in doubt. But if they were it would be insane. They really need to get a better process.

NY has one of the
worst systems in the country. In particular, the NYC election apparatus is a
bottomless patronage pit where elections go to die. They have been problematic there...for decades. Much like in portions of NJ, one party rule in some areas has allowed insiders to set up power structures that are ... resilient to any change that introduces accountability. They disenfranchise voting in ways that are competitive with the best GOP efforts. Probably better because they masquerade as bureaucratic incompetence in believable ways.

Honestly seems like it might be for the best if there's a public derpstorm over the NY batch of ballots. It's not going to change the outcome, nor move the needle on Trump's increasingly desperate efforts to tilt at windmills. And meanwhile it could *maybe* embarrass NY to actually improve its system at least marginally.

Even Bill Barr is saying there's no election fraud.
Attorney General William Barr said Tuesday the Justice Department has not uncovered evidence of widespread voter fraud that would change the outcome of the 2020 presidential election.
His comments come despite President Donald Trump’s repeated claims that the election was stolen, and his refusal to concede his loss to President-Elect Joe Biden.
In an interview with The Associated Press, Barr said U.S. attorneys and FBI agents have been working to follow up specific complaints and information they’ve received, but they’ve uncovered no evidence that would change the outcome of the election.

Also, Durham wasn't bowing to the pressure. I have no doubts Barr was leaning on him. That was one of the implications that arose when Durham's chief
right-hand woman quit a couple of last month ago.
Edit: Updated with a link to the story. It was a month ago but it feels like months. Time seems to be dilating as the election approaches.
Turns out Barr really wanted Durham to do something. Interesting that the order was kept secret to avoid interfering with the election. I guess we will see if anything comes out of this but I doubt it.

"They're gonna have a bunch of traitors. They're gonna line 'em up against the wall and start shooting them. Because that's what they deserve."
I'm not all that versed in The Bible. But isn't part of accepting Christ as your savior, following his teachings?
Love thy neighbor as thyself.
Turn the other cheek
Love thy enemies.
Don’t be hypocritical.
Judge not, that ye be not judged
How do you make your life out of the Bible and not think your going to suffer damnation for taking on that sort of belief?

Christians have always been able to manufacture the Jesus they needed for particular purposes. (Even the Christ-figure imagined in Revelations has almost nothing in common with the Jesus of the Gospels.)
Right-wing Christians today believe they're in a literal war with Satanic forces. Once it's that absolute, all is permitted.

You seem to be under the mistaken impression that most Christians know or care what Christ might have preached.

Not terribly likely, but Trump is a desperate man, and desperate men do desperate things. He has repeatedly shown a wanton disregard for anything, including human life, but his own self interest. We are not dealing with a rational actor.
