Ive never bought it before or used it.....it came in a container like ground beef..just ground and flat in the thing. Can I simply make patties out of it and cook it like normal breakfast sausage and make gravy ?
It wouldn't taste like breakfast sausage because it doesn't have the right seasoning. When I have bulk Italian sausage I typically use it for pizza or brown it with onions, add chicken broth and some pasta (not spaghetti or long pieces - elbows or orichette or something like that), cook until the pasta is done, then add lemon juice and zest, parmesan, and frozen peas.

Hmmm I could do that. Also might be able to use it as replacement in hamburger helper meals.

I would cut it with ground beef if you do that. Using all sausage would probably overwhelm it.

FYI...vodka, rum and fried eggs taste terrible. Adding fried bologna does not help.

Not stated. Probably violates food safety laws.

I didn't think they had any such laws in that state. Ever been to Bourbon Street? People eat where they vomit.

theres food I grew up with as a child that I cant name. I spend time every so often trying to find them. One was something my father in law made. It has cucumbers and onions in it and they floated in a clear liquid. I distinctly remember oil floating on top and what I think was celery seeds .

Im guessing it was a cucumber salad of some type. I hate cucumber but the onions I loved and they were almost sweet yet crisp. I have a book of his recipes but I haven't come across that one yet.

FIY if you buy ramen based on the little pepper scale they show know that their pepper scale is skewed to hot rather than not. So a 3 out of 6 peppers means ouch that burns good after two bites....not that it is semi warm...4 straight mouthfuls hurts.

Their pepper scale is often calibrated to South Koreans that have a much higher heat tolerance than the normal Westerner.

FWIW, in terms of 'indoor smoking', I've owned Breville's 'The Smoking Gun' for at least five years now. It isn't necessarily designed or intended to be the equivalent of true slow-smoked cooking, but it is a superbly effective method for quickly and effortlessly infusing a wide variety of foods and drinks with delicious, natural smokey flavours indoors (and is also a whole lot more affordable than the indoor smoker above):

I was interested until I read a few reviews. Too small for the amount of counter space it uses, and the claims that it doesn’t smoke up your house appear to be less than truthful. :(

Just in case the power drops out here Ive made a skillet of corn bread and a pot of white rice. I hope the power dont go and I pray the snow goes away. My bank is overcharged like $5 for they charged me $35 for that lol..I have $100 in my pocket I will deposit Tuesday when my friend comes to town to take me to the doc. I have maybe $20 on my CC since I made the payment on it.

Im still trying to get them to let me buy food with my benefit card like its supposed to work. I got 2 cans vienna, half a loaf of bread, half a gal milk , 4 eggs, and a frozen pot pie lol.

My food stamps came today..less than $140..yay...could be worse. Some people are out on cold streets and sidewalks...can always be worse..used to hear that as a teen and didn't believe it until I grew up.

I dont even think Walmart is delivering today..at all.

Depending on region, it's not entirely based on age. It also takes into account other factors that may apply to you. Give them a call and find out.

We always bought boneless skinless chicken breasts for both us and our little chihuahuas. My wife always picked them out and I have done the same since then. but this time Walmart was out of breasts so I was forced to buy the breast tenderloin.

My wife flat out refused to buy these. If the store had no breasts then she'd say let go we'll fine some at the next store. Id offer to get the tenderloin but no way. I never understood the reasoning but care of the pups were her choice.

Anyways I had to buy tenderloin. I like them. They are a good size not to have to save any or refreeze and they are tender for sure. But they have this unchewable tendon right down the middle. Maybe this is why she refused them. I know I dont like it. Hard to fool with.

online says to remove before cooking and when I tried that one one I ended up just mangling the loin into piece. So I left the rest in. I cooked a couple more and its almost easy to simply pull the chicken meat from them but still a extra hassle and you do waste a little meat. But not like I did trying to cut it out.

Anyways..lesson...I like them and will buy again.
