I could have sworn we'd gotten on a boat by now. I mean, this is called the Viking Ship.

Could someone please wake

 Scoop

up? He's having another one of his dreams and is currently spooning a chicken.

Either I'm reading those little stories wrong or you people are crazy. Scoop is not part of "you people" as there is no chance he is not crazy.

WW Viking Ship - Game thread - (day 1)

Post by Scoop20906 »

Scoop charges down the hill. Scoop slows to a stop and gazes at the beautiful horizon. Scoop pauses to think about life. Why am I here? What is my purpose? As Scoop looks out at the horizon he notices a Viking ship slowly leaving the shore. "OH SH*T. I'm supposed to be on that Viking ship." Scoop charges downhill and into the surf and begins swimming for the Viking ship.

An interesting thing happened on my way through a re-read.

Chaosraven and theohall strike me as having a shadowy connection.

Chaos' contribution has been asking rules questions, posting number of misses to bring up the idea of a quick (mostly blind) shot, remaining quieter than usual, and triggercutting theohall.

theo (while I certainly understand his travel is a factor) seems much lower profile than usual on Day 1. His contribution has been pointing at "helpful" Chaos, with a sideways veer at Grund, then hopping back on Chaos, while Chaos is seemingly in no real lynching danger. (Plus, theo's "evil forum" comment seems to me as out of character for a good theo).

As I read through, I got the feeling that they could be a couple of wolves chipping at each other early for later separation.

I could vote for either theo or Chaos. I'll start with:

Ok I don't want this going to random.org. My vote for scoop was to end the overacting on it, I see how hard that failed. So  Withdraw Scoop

Now my gut is saying Tru1cy and he is still my best guess, though Grund is high on the list as well. LL is trying to cause confusion in hopes of getting someone to slip up, I'm hoping that someone is a bad guy and not a special on our side. Just as usual day 1 and we have nothing to go on. So I'm going with my instincts and hoping they are right.

WW Viking Ship - Game thread - (day 1)

Post by Scoop20906 »

Scoop doggy paddles towards the Viking ship as wave after wave crashes over his head. A couple of times his head bobs below the surface but he always reappears shortly on the ocean's surface. Not far away fins appear heading towards Scoop. The group on the ship shout and point to Scoop however Scoop doesn't seem to notice as he doggy paddles and shouts his battle cry. As the fin intersects with Scoop, suddenly Scoop disappears beneath the surface. The group waits anxiously for several minutes and that stretches into half an hour and then hours later the sun starts to set on the horizon. The group removes their horned helmets and start to say a prayer for the brave Viking warrior, Scoop.

Scoop comes up behind them and says, "Did something happen?"

The group turns and cheers. Scoop is covered in seaweed and soaked. He wears a coral crown and is holding a jade green trident.

Grundbegriff says something but it sounds to Scoop like, "Ehmmm mnffm fgkmnff spectacle?"

Scoop bumps his hands to his head trying to clear the water from his ears and finally shrugs.

Scoop says "Sorry, my ears are water logged but I bring thee news. I have conquered the kingdom of Neptune. We will have free sushi throughout the voyage (no Unagi however)."

The group cheers!!

Scoop says, "CHRRRRRROOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

WW Viking Ship - Game thread - (day 1)

Post by Scoop20906 »

Scoop waves his jade trident in a circle in the air.

Scoop says, "Does the group look to me for leadership? Then I shall provide my thoughts."

There is a long silence as Scoop considers.

Finally, Scoop says, "I got nothing but my vote is on RMC."

Hence my above comment about not wanting this to hit the deadline. Game currently has 12 valid targets for lynch only 4 are evil. That leaves 4 powerd players (assuming Guapo was unpowered) and 4 unpowered (5 if Guapo was). Either way 66% chance of hitting our team and no chance of bailing from the vote if it is one of our powered players. At least if we guess and vote the person can brain dump and warn us if they are powered, hopefully surviving the night if they didn't happen to be protected last night.
