Not liking the egg launcher. They dont explode on contact and tend to bounce then take a sec to explode. By then the enemy has moved.

Yep - they are good for flushing people out but not a direct assault (without a LOT of practice).

You get that from Loot Island, right? It is sweet but I find it incredibly dangerous to go to Loot Island - nine times out of ten I die there. So sweet as it is I think the risk of going for it outweighs the reward for me.

Yeah, I agree. I wonder if it's more useful in build mode, since it could be used to help knock down people's builds.

Yes, it's on Loot Island. I only go there rarely - in this case I was an Aerialist and managed to claim the island uncontested. As I was picking up the loot, I heard a zip line so I just ran for the edge and jumped - worked out nicely!

I still want to get into the vault on the Island - it requires 2 keys which is a whole lot of work when, like you said, there is a 90% chance I'll die getting up there.

I think attacking Highcard is a much better risk / reward balance. It's not that hard to kill him and his buddies, and you get his special assault rifle plus a vault card. His assault rifle isn't as good as the Overclocked Rifle, but it's maybe 80% as good, and much more doable.

The ODM took a little while to figure out, but was a lot of fun once I learned how to use it.

Brooke 100 levels this weekend too - only 100 more to go!

I have barely played this since MLB The Show came out a few weeks back. I did play a round today, and knocked out a few quests. Had some good weapons. Thought things were going well. Into the top 25, maybe 20. Not sure. Then got taken out by some try-hard sniping from on top of some tree. I have no idea how my son plays this non-stop. I get frustrated with it way too easily.

Having Star Wars, the ODM, and all the Syndicate items in the game at the same time leads to really fun chaos.

Got a triple elimination this weekend. Came up on two people fighting it out and started using my Sith powers to drop a mountain on them just as a third person jumped off a roof into the middle of their fray. I don't think they even know what hit them. I stood stunned for a second that all three were gone before I ran around and picked through a rather impressive loot pile. :D

I've never done that exact thing, but one of my favorite things is coming across two or three people fighting it out and then picking them all off in short order.

I'm lazy. I wait a few seconds and just take out the winner as he loots.

OK, that's not really true. I get so focused on the easy targets I don't notice the sniper off to the side that one shots me as I stand there like a fool.

I do debate how long to wait before attacking, though typically I get impatient and attack pretty quickly.

Oh wow, really? That's pretty much all I play. Guess I won't be touching Ranked then. /shrug

The fact that I'm barely playing despite Star Wars and Spiderman crossovers isn't really a great sign. I played one round yesterday, and it was fun, until getting just obliterated endgame. I really despise PvP in almost every form. It's sad IMO that the matchmaking seems to be all or nothing, but whatever "bracket" I'm in these days isn't much fun.

I really wish they would optimize their game engine so it would load faster. You click the desktop icon then wait and wait and wait while it seemingly loads up. SLOOOOOOoowly. God what a drag. Used to be..and most games still do....games would start right up soon as you clicked on them.

REALLY loving that new WILD season. Got a new skin and starting to get Vbucks. The new map areas are way fun. I explored the aztek ruin way north and found a treasure room of blue chests and gold chests......filled with gold bars and purple weapons. Had to book to as the storm passed me by while I was in there lol.

First win in a long while.

I'm just under Level 50 (half way to Optimus Prime skin!). I haven't noticed any changes to the drum shotgun - I still think the common grey version is better than any other shotgun blue or less. Still having a lot of fun in the new area - the ability to cloak has made for some fun showdowns.

Finally got Optimus Prime. I think he looks pretty neat - but I think I'm going back to the character I have who is dressed in black head-to-toe. I'm not sure if it truly makes a difference, but it sure seems like Optimus is easier to spot than the other guy.

Ive been logging and doing some quests. I still do not enjoy it like I did a map or two back. The quests then all were cool things to do and you go real rewards for each one like a glider or pickaxe or something to wear and see..I hate quests that are only exp or a spray or something as I never use them. Im in it for looks change and emotes that last.

New season has started. I find the new areas both fun and frustrating. If you get and weapon and survive first contact, it can be a lot of fun. If you get unlucky, though, you can end up eliminated in the first minute.

Is the new season a new map yet? Or is it one map per year? I loved last map but never liked this one. the jungle stuff helped as I loved the temples and such. But overall Ive been disappointed. Also Ive never really learned good locations like i did the old map.

They modify the map every 3-ish months. This is the same base map since January, but it has been modified extensively since then. Compared to June, there are 3 new areas/Resorts to explore. They aren't particularly big in the grand scheme of things, but they each have a heist to perform that adds to the fun/mayhem. They are also heavily guarded by NPCs.

Got 6 wins yesterday with 3 natural Battle Royals (won 3 in a row at one point - first time that's ever happened!). The last one let me complete my Legendary Survivor Medal and now I've moved on to Exotic. The medals really make one aggressive - I'm scared to see what's required for Mythic levels.

Have you found the quick ways to the bosses of each house? If not, it might be easier to let someone else take out the house boss and then take out that person - like hide in the vents until it makes sense to go for it.
