I've been given a corporate card without tons of documentation saying what's kosher. I only charged something to that card when I had been specifically told to do so because I'm not a moron. It sounds like the guy using his card to pay for family vacations is an idiot and I have no idea why management is not firing him. Unless he was given a per diem and his meals have been within that amount. That's a generous per diem though.
Sorry, long weekend with Octocon. :)

I don't know what's going through his head. I thought perhaps I was the crazy one as I couldn't see any way in hell that this was okay. Before I left for my three day weekend Thursday, I heard the accounting person for our company explaining to this guy over the phone that she didn't understand why he thought charging three extra large pizzas for dinner one night last week was okay.

I have a feeling he was a big wig at his last firm and no one questioned him (for what reason, I have no clue). But he's been bumping heads with our accounting people since day one here. I'm guessing he's not going to last much longer.

The enchilada, she is like a beautiful woman. If you don't use the right sauces, she will taste horrible...

...wait, that analogy doesn't really work.

Anyway, these enchiladas suck.

Actually whether it works or not really depends on your taste in sauces. If you like tomato sauces...........
Personally, I prefer chocolate syrup. :ninja:

I wondered the exact same thing last night.
So it would win.
Rules change!
Now the Globes’ organisers, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, have moved to ensure the issue does not rear its head at next year’s ceremony. New rules will mean “dramas with comedic overtones should be entered as dramas”, reports Entertainment Weekly.

The Martian was narrowly voted in as a comedy by a Globes eligibility committee in December.
...
The comedy rule change is among 11 pages of alterations for the 2017 Golden Globes. Another notable shift means studios will no longer be able to wine and dine voters between the date of the announcement of nominations and the final ceremony, which next year will be held on 8 January.

Stop wearing them for a week. After a week of you walking around nude they will beg for you to put a speedo on.

A guy I work with has a son who is a freshman in college and is a normal, non-famous guy. I don't know what the class is or what he is trying to demonstrate, but for a class he has people following him around like paparazzi. Not just on campus, but out in the real world too - about 5-15 people depending on the day. He said he's been asked to sign autographs and pose for selfies by people on the street as a result. I am amused.

The problem with White Castle isn't how good they are, it's that they now cost 80 cents a piece. Why would I pay $.80 for a Castle when I can get a Rally burger or the like for a buck? Castles were awesome because they were still a dime in the mid 80s. White Castle would still be the bomb if they were still fifty cents and I could get a sack of ten for a five bucks.

For years I only put dill pickles and mustard on my burgers. Now I put everything on them (well, no mayo, no ketchup). I can't get enough food these days, it seems. :?

Tomatoes and Tomatoes are two things that I won't allow on my burger.

Otherwise, you have to get all way things like grilled carob before I reject it as a burger topping.

Egg? Fry it up.
Hashbrowns? Oh yeah!
Mayo? Damn straight!
Worsterchsetershire? Why not.
Jalepenos? Hellappayes!

I'll even take it with grey poop on it!

Gardening has turned me into a tomato snob. A thick slice of homegrown tomato is a huge plus for almost any sandwich, in season. Out of season? Hold the tomatoes, please.

My neighbour always gives us tomatoes when they are ready in his garden. They are so good that I eat tomato sandwiches for days. Some salt, some pepper, maybe a little bit of mayo, and huge freakin' slices of tomato.
