I just really feel like it's an understood thing that your selfie shouldn't show a toilet, and really, really shouldn't be your profile pic if it does.

Depending on my mood I either yell out loud or in my head when people take selfies in the fuckin' bathroom and post them for all to see. I just don't understand. Then again, I don't understand the United States much these past months.
yes, yelling out loud and in my head too much for a textbook qualification of normal

I was cleaning out my desk today and found some papers and materials that I used to hang in my cubicle. This quote still amused me:
I've learned that you can keep vomiting long after you think you're finished.
Truth.

Ive been food poisoned multiple times. I know. After a while theres nothing coming up and it feels like you're trying to rip your balls off and drag them up through your body to throw them up. Ive learned to say hell with it and drink water just to have something to throw up.

Speaking of vomiting, my son's caregiver called in sick today because he wasn't feeling well after eating leftover sushi for breakfast.
WHO THE FUCK IS EATING LEFTOVER SUSHI FOR BREAKFAST???
(I guess my son's caregiver is, but whatever.)

The last time I vomited was mid January 1995. As best I can remember, Smoove_B's Law applied.
Coincidentally, that also happens to be the last time I had a serious hangover.

Moreover, if you have leftover sushi, someone did something wrong.

The last time I vomited was yesterday around noon.

Off topic...Coca Cola was invented as a migraine cure. My wife has migraines. She swears that Coca Cola cures a normal headache...nothing touches a migraine though. Must be the caffeine.

Is it possible to be off topic in a "Random Randomness" thread? If anything, wouldn't being on topic itself be off topic?

Please keep posts in this thread sufficiently random. If you keep this up I will notify the moderators.

It's a small consolation, but be thankful he didn't bring his leftover sushi with him to microwave for lunch.
(this last part is just a test of faces to see if it really is fixed.)

Excedrin and Excedrin Migraine have the same ingredients. Acetaminophen, aspirin and caffeine.

The caffeine can help with a headache, but the original 'cure' was probably a certain active ingredient that they ended up removing.

Excedrin Migraine is the best headache medicine I've ever used, and it's simply acetaminophen, aspirin, and caffeine. It melts any headache in minutes.

What came first, the music or the misery? People worry about kids playing with guns, or watching violent videos, that some sort of culture of violence will take them over. Nobody worries about kids listening to thousands, literally thousands of songs about heartbreak, rejection, pain, misery and loss. Did I listen to pop music because I was miserable? Or was I miserable because I listened to pop music?

Why would someone describe country and western, then randomly switch the topic to pop music, while never mentioning that before people worried about kids playing video games, they worried about kids and their rock and roll music?

Twice in the last month we had emails sent to large distribution lists (first was over 500, second was all of NA and Europe) asking for a response. And our best and brightest continued to use Reply All for days. Nearly as amusing were the people Replying All asking others to stop Replying All. Days and days of this.

Some years ago while I was on vacation, an incident like that apparently crashed our email server. I panicked a little when I returned to many hundreds of new emails, but as soon as I realized what had happened, I was able to delete in bulk.
This one is just a blip. Someone I've never heard of is leaving for another ministry. I can understand one accidental Reply All on wishing them luck. It's the continuation of thankings where it finally becomes comical.

For those that have the power, I highly recommend
removing the button. I've advocated for it in my organization to no avail. The keyboard shortcut still worked when Cingular removed it after a crippling RA chain hit the entire US operations address book.

Whoever sends anything to a large distro without using BCC gets what they deserve.
I mean bacon is good, but I have no urge to have the flavor in other ways or to add it to anything.

I knew the person who sent the 500 person distribution and clued them in to the BCC thing. I've also made sure my department knows all about it. Almost no one knows it acts differently though (I mean, besides hiding all the names).

In the meantime, if you want to fudge it:
Right click on the icon you want. Select "copy image address" (you are using chrome, correct?). Hit the img button. Paste the link on the img tags. Presto, proper smilies.

Being informed that if someone from my branch doesn't volunteer to be on the United Way committee, a name will be drawn from a hat.
I make no secret about my dislike of United Way. So does at least one of the other people whose name will be in the hat.
My email in reply to this announcement was polite, but my actual thought is more along the lines of "Are you fucking kidding me?"
