Apparently they don't understand that it isn't a recording of her singing sloooowwwweerrrr. They clearly don't understand how that affects the sound.
I guess a lot of people these days dont understand record players . Most have not seen one.

I don't believe it. Music slowing down is one thing but the words are all pronounced perfectly in the slowed down version. I believe the words would hardly be recognizable slowed down that much.

If that's a 45rpm played at 33rpm, then it's playing at 73.33% of the nominal rate. A quick sanity check is to look at the duration of the normal version of the song (2m:42s) and calculate what it would be if slowed down by that factor. That results in a duration of 3m:41s, which is within a couple of seconds of the "slowed down" version in the video.

If you speed it up to 128rpm I'll uncontrollably wet my pants. If you slow it back down to 45rpm I'll still wet my pants but I'll be in full control.

Nope. My breathing locks up when cleaning. I only do the hardcore cleaning... well, never... But when never comes, I only do it with good weather so I can open all the doors and windows to ventilate.

I just read where scientists have been studying the voice boxes of dinosaurs. As the dinos are the ancestors of birds they have bird voice boxes. So T-Rex instead of putting out a mighty roar as seen and heard in Hollywood would actually be putting out bird noises. I can hear it now, TWEET FUCKING TWEET CHIRP CHIRP CHOMP!

Perfectly explainable. Anytime a 'new' or 'cool' term creeps out far enough to be included in mass media and advertising, it's completely diluted and useless - and rapidly passes stale and goes right into rotting. In 30 years, though, it'll make the circuit back and be 'old school cool' ... 8-)

I cant count how many mowers Ive been through.

Old one I hit a head to a axe/splitter that was laying in tall grass against a tree trunk. Warped the shaft nice.

Old old mower I had it throw a metal piece of some sort straight up through the rusted out deck. The mower still worked but I refused to use it after that.

Brand new Cub Cadet......Was simply mowing tall grass when the blade and shaft sheared right off and if flew through the back on the mower. Lucky for me the grass was thick behind or something and it spun into the ground before taking my feet off.

Old riding mower failed to start the blades spinning when I engaged it one day and before I noticed what the smell / smoke was the belt melted off.

May I suggest that a walk through of the area to be mowed previous to beginning to cut the grass become your new normal?

No I can't just give you read access to the entire server. There are multiple applications running with multiple owners and some have sensitive information just lying around (against my advice).

No I don't care who your boss is, and even if you get the director to order it he would be in violation of National Defense security policy, so good luck with that.

Just tell me what you need and I'll make sure you get it. Everything is not an answer.

I went down at 2, as usual. At 4 Wife woke me up to inform me that the cats had popped a screen and escaped. They'd apparently been out for quite a few hours by then because they both came back in without much coaxing, and I was back in bed by 4:30 (previous jailbreaks took hours to resolve). At 5 a cat woke me because he was trapped on the wrong side of a closed door. At 7 Wife woke me to say she was leaving for work. At 8:30 the alarm went off, as usual.

You tell me how much sleep I got. Why am I even awake right now? Naptime for Bonzo.

Wimps. I get to bed at 2 am after checking the kids' blood glucose alarms. They go off periodically at night, but my wife nearly always wakes up first. Wake up at 6:30 am as the kids are getting ready for school. Make breakfast and lunch, send them off with my wife by 7:30 am. Crash for an hour, then get ready catch a ride downtown. Usually nap while the kids read before bed. About 6 hours per day over 3 rest periods.
