Damn it! :x

On a side note, the front end of the Kia was bent up pretty good. It's doubtful as to whether they would have been able to drive it off.

I've got a message in to the local cops to see if they want the footage.

I watched it 3x and didn't see that. Still don't, as a matter of fact.

Oh, for... :P

Watch the two white SUVs in the left lane as they go under the light.

But now that you've pointed out what happens, I saw it.

So, meteors are those little pebbles that get kicked up by trucks, right? A ferocious wild tiger is the neighbor's tabby pouncing on a blade of grass? I mean, that looks like it was a traumatic accident for all involved - almost a 12 car pile up, and certainly dozens injured in each vehicle... :ninja:

I still can't tell it was an accident. Even having it pointed out it looks like slamming on the brakes to me. I never want to be called on the stand as an eyewitness.

We have this every year at out Thanksgiving and Christmas meals. Although not tea-totalers, my family doesn't make alcohol part our meals. This is a nice drink to put into everyone's glasses, and even the kids can enjoy it with us. Actually, we use the Martinelli's Sparkling Apple Cider.

Don't know that I've ever had their apple juice.

Saw a video for this and I was super stoked.

Then I got to the bottom of this link and no Wizardry and much, much more importantly, no Nintendo Wrestling.

I have an idea for a great new snack sweet. I think it would be great at fairs and carnivals and such to start. How would I get started though and not have it stolen from me by someone or company I wonder?...hmmm.

Off the top of my head, I'd say publish the recipe, find a name that you can trademark, and launch it at the state fair.

How can anybody invest any emotion into any of the comicbook superheroes of today?
There are so many timelines/universes with so many copies of them all, some good, some bad and some indifferent. I imagine Stan Lee has trouble keeping up with them all.
By this time does anybody really care if the superheroes live or die? Is it just for the conflict the people read these now?
I cannot imagine how these planet/universe eating supervillians would ever even notice some superhero type the size of a microbe to him/it. Is the Hulk destroying them one cell at a time? Why in the world would these supervillians shrink themselves down so Hulk and others could punch him in the nose.

Surfing is basically putting yourself in the way of a few tons of quickly-moving water, staying barely afloat, and making it look awesome in the process.

No, surfing is making sure you stay on top of the water and not going for a dive.

This has been my thought as I play Marvel Puzzle Quest and they keep adding heroes that I've never heard of or variants of heroes but without context, they make no sense to me.

Basically, if I were a kid, I'd just pick a few "favourites" and focus on them. That's what I did when I was a kid, so just because there's more choice today doesn't mean I'd change my ways.

I still do that. I follow DC more than Marvel, and in DC I generally follow the Batman family (Batman, his allies and villains) and Justice League, plus some of their individual members. I don't follow all of the alternate version/alternate times/alternate timelines stuff.

This is why I cant play that Marvel Heroes MMO thats free. Too many heroes and I cant choose what to play. When I pick oen I feel Im missing something by not using another one.

Same with Star Trek Timelines. They keep adding character variations and minor characters out of every series.

Seeing Jolene Blalock as T'Pol on the first season of Enterprise is a bit strange. Her short wig really made her fake lips stand out and in my head when I see her I think of that old childrens game and hear "duck duck goose duck duck goose"

I have found in my olde age I don't like much in the way of goriness in my movies.
This weekend I tried watching the first two Hellraiser movies. Couldn't do it.
I still like the violins just not the gore.

i spaced on paying the credit card bill this month. this has not happened before. i usually remember to pay along with the internet/phone bill, but this time... i can remember myself thinking 'do i have any other bills?' and coming up totally blank. really disturbing...

(i sucked it up, paid the late fee and interest charges, and i have now set a monthly reminder for this. feel like a failure of an adult.)

Since you have a perfect prior payment record you most likely will be able to get the late fee waived, if not the interest charges as well, if you give customer service a call.

Yeah - my wife has done that. We miss one every 2-3 years when we take vacations during the summer. She has always just called and asked if there was anything they could do and they've always been really pleasant while removing it.

CRS? I've had it for years. If I don't write it down, it don't get done.

I'd call the company and talk about it. Irrespective of the interest and late fee, one missed payment on a credit card and they can throw you in a whole nother credit bracket that permeates your rating and see rates change across the board on all credit stuff up to even your car insurance.

http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/car- ... /index.htm

https://www.esurance.com/info/car/myth- ... rance-rate

I know one late payment when I was much younger took me from 6.9 to 18% interest on a BIG BANK Visa until I called and had it removed under their grace period blah blah blah.

No reason not to keep a spotless credit rating if all it takes one call.

I have a spreadsheet that lays out each bill down the left side in day of month order and each month across the top. Every payday, I sit down and pay the bills and mark each one as paid for the month, so I can see exactly where I need to start. The second tab is a running balance of the checking account.

And I take screenshots of all the confirmation screens and save those off to a folder under my Payment Receipts folder.
