Why would you offer this? (if a mod wants to edit that to an OO link, have at it)

Ideal for stage and puppet theater, storytelling, teaching, daycare, pre-school, pretend play, role-playing, presentations, games, parties, gifts and keeping Smoove paralyzed in the corner.

Well, my foot is okay. The rest of me not so much.
But you know what? These last years of my life are tough but it was totally worth screwing up my body in my younger years and enjoying myself. :horse:

First world problem: falling asleep while binge-watching your favorite show and thanks to autoplay you have to painstakingly work your way back to figure out on which flippin' episode you fell asleep.

I find myself staying up later and later on Sunday nights because I dread the idea of going into work on Monday.

I've always been that way. But it's getting worse as I wear out.

My pit grit no longer seems up for the job. I may be forced to start wearing undershirts. I hate layers. That's one step further away from being pantsless.

Walked into a Sev 1 ECC call this morning. My instincts were correct last night.

(And I honestly don't think it's my product at fault here. But I have to be involved with the call anyway.)

When you're Canadian you come outta your momma already wearing layers.

Unless you're French, it seems. My Quebecois co-workers are like the only people I've seen who don't wear undershirts.

My feelings about going to work are complex and my behaviour can vary. I've certainly been in this boat though.

Layers when working outside when it's 20 degrees F or less and windy and humid is one thing. I like the cool. I don't put move to long sleeves and put on a jacket until it's below 50. It's getting so even 75 is too hot for me. They turned the heat to 75 for labs back in my area for stable testing and I thought I had a fever.

I don't think I have ever understood food porn until I just saw a breakfast sausage encased by a waffle dipped in syrup. I think I've been missing this exact food my whole life.

I like my work, my coworkers and my paycheck.

It's ok to hate me. You can ask Isgrimnur for tips.

I used to like my work. Some days I still do. But we have an upgrade deadline looming over us, and we can't get the networking resources to assist us with what we need to do, and it's causing me to lose sleep.

This is why one of my goals in (work) life is to never be in charge of anything. It may limit my salary potential, but it's much better for my well-being.

That was me. I failed. No matter how much I try to shrug responsibility, it always comes finding me. I had long ago accepted that I would take less of a salary for this dodge and would happily give a chunk of it back to be relieved a lot of "solely in charge of but still report to people on" that I have now. I much prefer (in work life) be given one or two things as time, being told what to do and then doing it.

Somehow my brain got rewired on the responsibility thing. I went from worry free directly to busy body and often have to an internal monologue before deciding to chime in. "Dude. Not your problem. Dude. They will get you involved when they need you involved. If they don't think it through, not your problem. You have no way of knowing if they've thought it through or not." or "That's not even remotely related to your responsibilities. Take a pill and work on something else and let them work through it." I suspect busy body became a dominant trait of mine when there was a constant denial of the rule "Failure to plan on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part." to the point of it becoming par for the course.

Amazon transitioned into a fetish site so slowly, I didn't even realize it was happening. And yes, that's SFW.

Great, now that will be in my search history and gawd knows what else Amazon will think I'll want to know about now.

I find it funny that the students go outside to smoke pot at the designated smoking stations on campus.

Time-honored tradition. The smoking corner at my high school was such a drug market that they set up an indoor smoking lounge for the straight kids.

High school in the 80s for me. They had nixed all smoking when I got there.

I remember being sent to the teacher's lounge in Junior High with a message. This was 1982, and a literal cloud of Winston and Marlboro billowed out when I opened the door.

I'm surprised any schools still allow smoking on campus. I assumed that got nixed nationally by the new millennium. I think my old high school killed smoking in the early 90s.

Both of my high schools had killed smoking by the late 80s/early 90s, but one of them was an open campus (you could come and go as you chose), so the smokers gathered outside the front gate and puffed away.

I can't imagine that the school (Hug High in Reno) is still like that, given the overprotectiveness people show toward kids these days.

We had a smoking area in my high school when I was there, and I graduated in '89.

I graduated in '92.We had a "smoking pen" in the outdoor courtyard, that was a large rectangle painted on the ground. The borders of which were rigorously enforced. You dare not step outside with a cigarette in hand, lest you receive swift punishment.
