I hope not. But I wanted to spread some attitude around, just in case.
I'll join you soon Newcastle.

I also advise starting from scratch tomorrow. Don't go into the day with preconceived notions about who it is. If I survive then everyone starts with a fresh slate.

"Grundbegriff is KAOS!"

"No, Remus is!"

"RevHempus is KAOS, I know it!"

"Lassr may have been scanned but his seasickness pills turned him into KAOS!"

The arguments went back and forth for a long, long, day. Finally Remus threw out: "Newcastle is KAOS!" The others paused for a moment and then general assent: "Yeah, I could get behind that notion..."

Newcastle was blackjacked and thrown into the sea.

As the remaining agents settled down for dinner an hour later, the loudspeaker crackled to life.

"Attention remaining agents. You're really running out of opportunities, so tomorrow if you could, y'know, kill a KAOS agent, yeah...that'd be great, mmmkay?"

Newcastle was a Control Agent!

Obviously that does not arise from worry over your grammer, spelling, or punctuation.

"No one leave the deck tonight," said Lassr. "If we stay in sight of one another, KAOS won't be able to kill any of us."

Remus, Grund, and Rev readily agreed that this was a good plan. And so the long evening began and wound through minute after minute, hour after hour. They'd all vowed to stay awake all night, so you can imagine the fatal flaw in their plans--yes, instead of sleeping in shifts and keeping a watch, one by one the remaining agents dozed off.

They were all startled awake by Carlson's voice on the PA system. "Good morning agents, remember to choose carefully today!"

Three agents wiped the sleep from their eyes and yawned themselves into awareness.

Lassr simply lay in a lounge chair, a knife embedded to the hilt in his chest.

Lassr has been killed by Kaos!

This is it: If the agents toss the Kaos agent today they win; if the tossed agent is Control, KAOS wins.

Here is my problem. I was convinced of RevHempus71's innocence right up until he decided to switch over and kill Newcastle. Now I am stuck wondering if that was really his deciding I am innocent and going with my plan of trying to get Newcastle and Grundbegriff to find the last Kaos agent or if he is the last Kaos agent trying to make use of my proclamation for his own ends to see me help him toss Grundbegriff today. Crap. Crap. Crap.

Prepare yourselves to endure more of my analysis paralysis.

I'm sitting here, staring at the browser, and nothing is happening (whether on screen or in my brain).

How are we going to do this? I'm not the KAOS agent, but I fully expect both of you to say the same thing. Rehashing this and that from the thread is all we have to work with. Well, that and intuition.

General thoughts on how best to proceed?

For me I have this to work with:
Grundbegriff: usually full of insights and "we should do this" through out the game. That has been missing. Kaos? Don't know. Felt pretty good about it yesterday being he or Newcastle.

RevHempus71: Was that first day vote on Newcastle Kaos trying to get a lynch in? Was yesterday's a symptom of the same? Don't know but that vote yesterday after saying he thought Newcastle innocent early in the day is really eating at me.

As much as stessier did for us by coming forward, coming out that early and having that much success makes it hard to judge those rounds because the votes were so clear. Even the tru1cy vote seemed such a lock.

I am sorry to have confused you. I just got a weird last minute feeling about Newcastles last few posts. I was wrong. The worst part of being wrong is being left up against you 2. I know 1 of is Control, but you both look guilty as hell to me. The absolute suckiest part of this whole thing....is if I pick wrong and Control loses.... I think we will have a new Village Idiot.....and Chaos will have to live with just being the Raving Idiot.
I mean If I was Kaos at least I could brag about how well I did, but I Control and stuck myself with the Idiot role.....

Here is the main thing I can't get past. I seems to me that Grund , if not Kaos, wouldn't be alive today to deal with. If he is the player you all have said he is, then I find it hard to believe him to be Control. I mean would Kaos let him live to the final vote?

RevHempus71,
Who do you think was Larabee?

I'm up at the crack of dawn to get the kid off to his final Vex robotics event, and thought I'd check in to see who was manipulating whom. ;)

Remus: If I had an amazing insight or some guidance, I'd share it. Problem is, I've never been in this situation before!

Rev: Please don't kill me (and dethrone the Village 'raven) over Grund Is Still Alive stuff. I'm alive because KAOS hasn't had a chance to kill me. They couldn't kill me in the first two rounds because they apparently didn't want me as their convert. Every KAOS play since then has been forced, it seems, either to silence Larabee or to chip away at the Knowns/Unknowns ratio. As Remus pointed out, the cost of killing Chaosraven was huge; paying it required, mathematically, that they kill knowns from that point forward.

In fact, if the SplodieGrenade hadn't landed on a known (I hesitate to use the word 'trusted' with pr0ner ;)), we probably wouldn't be in this fix.
