actually i would think that last game probably had an influence in terms of influencing him as the kill candidate, the scenarios i see

1. It was grund (i kind of doubt it, though would be funny if grund did do such a thing)
2. An attempt at framing grund (person who is doing this has a fear of grund, or wants the spotlight on grund and hence away from them).
3. Wants people talking about the killing of semaj and possible people with motives, when the person who did has no direct/ties motives to wanting to kill Semaj (think team con from last game).
4. Possible person from team corp extracting revenge
5. It was fun just to knock him out on night 1.

So i am actually of the belief there is a reason why someone is knocked out. What it is, who knows. But there is a reason
One likely scenario you omit is that there are other people who the uruk-hai didn't want to kill because of their tactics/tendencies/native assumptions, and that Semaj fell into the class of people that the uruk-hai just didn't care about.

he is attempting a binary search. If it has to be in section A or section B then you pick one and search it to eleminate half (if only the piles were even) of the searching. It would be awesome if it were that simple though.

I'm here guys, sorry for being a bit of a no-show up until now.

brief ooc/ We Just Closed on our New House !!!! I may just say: What a royal pain that whole processes was... also - Woo Hoo, our current house (now called 'the old house', even though it's 11 years old, and our 'new house' is over 100 years old) anyhow, the 'old house' is now "under contract" too. fuck yeah. Wife is due in 3 weeks too. :horse:

I hope to have more time in the next day or two here - but I wanted to chime in when I read the above post.

I have a little theory in these games. Nothing is ever 'a frame job'. People (wolves) behind the scenes talk about them, but they always say things like "and people may think I'm being framed"... people don't do it - they don't find it workable - but wolves love to work it in "Maybe I am being framed!"

Anyhow. It made me think - very 'knee jerk' : Grund did it, no question.... since then, I've sorta backed down from that thought... only because I feel Grund would have checked himself perhaps...

So, I'm not sure - but I really don't see 'frame jobs' actually happening in these games too often (if at all)

Well, I seriously hope you do, because you ask "why so-n-no?" every time. Any time you die on Night 0, I always try to be the first person to start the day with: "Why Newcastle?"

I have no idea what is going on, other than a bunch of posts about trying to understand the rulez. What I got from all of that, Hobbits stay hidden, yet we need to figure out a way to find a Hobbit or Gollum for Frodo to pass The Ring to immediately before Journey 7. Is that about it?

Willful misinterpretation on your part. Your post chronology came, without further context, during a discussion of who would've killed Semaj, and the witch king isn't part of that conversation.

Say what? I just threw up a chronology of when people started posting this morning. There was no context for it.

Ok - after re-reading, you and Newcastle were having a discussion about Semaj. Everyone else was ignoring you two and playing around with codes and such.

I still have my eye on you. Image

You expressly note "culprit(s)", yet go on to say there is only on Uruk'Hai and a binary search. That you were only talking about the night kill. I call you a liar yet again - and this time without editing anything.

What do you say to that?!?! :horse:

Just to talk about the whole No Edit rule.

Normally it's noted that it's really just a gentleman's agreement, and it's your fellow player you need to satisfy.

To that degree - I don't think it should need (I'm not saying that you were saying it should) to be stated or listed. I think it's always in effect, as I think you always need to satisfy your fellow player. (Chaos regularly satisfies me, for instance)

In the end, edit's cause some degree of concern - even thought 95% of them are benign.

Ok. Just got caught up. The only thing clear to me is the hobbits need to stay silent until the final journey and then we need a mass outting to allow frodo to pass his ring to. In the meantime the specials need to protect and scan.

And the free people needed to volunteer to be scouts unless we need to mount a rescue.

Do I have the jist?

Also, congrats unagi!
