In this case, though, MA didn't apparently need to do anything on the issue. This isn't a scenario (as I understand it, anyway) where someone forced them to take a stance and they had to choose whether or not to die on this hill. They took this on themselves.

I'm withholding judgment until I read about justification and spin, because superficially it sure seems to be at odds with who we are. Although we have our backwards backwaters (ask Kelric about Springfield), at the state level MA is very LGBTQ friendly. There must be more to this story than meets the eye.

At some point saying "I will not stand for this" and rioting is the moral and correct course of action. I am so tired of being the side that always has to be "reasonable".
