The Vourdalak

Fun fact: Aleksei Tolstoy wrote this vampire story 60 years before Dracula.

I had no idea they were doing a remake of Barbarella
It's been years and years since I've seen it and I wonder if it holds up...or why we needed a remake of it.

Spoiler:
Whoa! This came out of left field hard. Ive never heard a thing on it. Saw the original. This trailer looks effects wise great. But it doesn't give me a hint of plot or whats going on. That makes me worry its a flop. Need to see who is in it and who is directing and what its rated.

EDIT: Ohh ok its Sydney Sweeney. She's the current hot girl actress these days I think. Guess its WAY early yet as IMDB doesn't even have it listed. Just the original 1968 one.

I consider both Let the Right One In and Border to be amazing films, so I'm definitely interested in this!

I'm pretty sure it is as it was just announced.

The writer, John Ajvide Lindqvist, takes familiar "monsters' and puts them in situations where they're more victim than victimizer. Although unlike the Twilight series, the monsters are still essentially monsters and not romanticized, misunderstood heroes. Let the Right One In is absolutely essential reading/viewing for any fan of vampire stories....or just plain great writing/filmmaking (hell, even the American remake wasn't too bad...although NOTHING can hold a candle to the original).

And Border did something similar with folk tales.
