Man I -love- watching Rodgers lose.

Did he blame anyone after the game for the loss, again, this time?
He said it was Saleh’s fault.

Just kidding, he blamed the media.

lol

You know, it's funny - I wonder how much of Rodger's success was built upon the Bears and Lions sucking for his entire career in GB.

I kind of hate the Bucs, but even I feel bad for them tonight. They were humming , but without Evans and now Godwin . . . Their season is in big trouble.

Just read that Jameson Williams is being suspended for using performance enhancing drugs. Not sure what happened but he's beginning to sound like he's got troubles and not just injury ones. Assuming this isn't a bogus suspension (which I doubt it is), I would have thought the gambling suspension would have been the end of his "youthful indiscretion"

Aiyuk of the Niners out with torn ACL/MCL. This definitely feels like a Niners season lost to injury, rather like the season after the last loss to the Chiefs in the Super Bowl when they went 6-10 due to injuries. However, the NFC West doesn't look all that great and if they can stay in striking distance, a sudden burst of health late might be ok. Not betting on it tho. McCaffrey, even when he comes back, isn't likely to be 100% for any length of time, but I do think the biggest issue is that neither Greenlaw nor Hufanga have made it back yet. Dre Greenlaw is such an underrated component of the Niners defense, especially these days with QBs throwing short routes most of the time - sideline to sideline LBs who can cover are at a premium (remember that Greenlaw made HUGE defensive plays in both playoff games to just get the Niners to the Super Bowl last year), and he's one of the best - Hufanga fills the same role as a Safety, and watching Mahomes carve them up underneath the past 2 games (including the Super Bowl), it has been obvious how much the Niners miss having 1-2 more guys who can do that besides Warner.

Tua clears concussion protocol, will start vs. Cardinals
Miami's QB also spoke with medical experts across the country as he navigated the NFL's Return to Participation Protocol, and not a single doctor recommended that Tagovailoa retire from football. The 26-year-old has been diagnosed with three concussions in two years.

Tagovailoa spoke with specialists and his family before making the decision to continue playing despite his medical history.

"I love this game," he said Monday, according to The Athletic's Tashan Reed and Amos Morale III. "I love it to the death of me."

Chargers were already leading the league in fewest points allowed per game at 13.8. Today they held the Saints to 8 points. The Chargers defense??? Methinks Harbaugh must be making a difference.

Once again niners knock out the cowboys this time with half their squad hurt. Brock had the same amount of rushing yards as the entire Cowboys team. It's amazing that the cowboys have Zeke and Cook both used to be great RB's and they can't do anything.

Dak shows he's not worth the $60 million a year once again.

They used to think the Cowboys had the best OL in the NFL. Only on paper, it appears.

Their DL injuries helped the Niners a lot - the Niners still aren't all that good yet. Yeah, they should have beaten the Rams and Cardinals, but blowing leads has been a long term issue, even before the injuries. They REALLY need Greenlaw back, and Hufanga would help a lot too, tho Mustapha has been a nice surprise.

well, both Levis and Richardson, the guys I thought were destined to be nfl busts because they couldn't even complete passes behind SEC offensive lines have both been benched.

It's still a bit early to write them off, but I wouldn't have touched them with a 4th round pick, let alone a 1st round pick, and I've seen nothing to change that (tho Richardson has made some amazing plays, over all, he's been dreadful).

Jets WR just dropped the ball short of the goal line, and it rolled out of bounds for a touchback while the team celebrated. How that still happens at the professional level is amazing to me. Run to the back of the end zone, then celebrate.

Also, this game is a crime against football. They’re showing people asleep in the stands. 😂 Has there ever been a good Thursday night game? They just all feel like terrible games.

There are plenty of good Thursday night games. If you put a dog shit team against an injury riddled team on a short week, it’s not great. But this shit show would look like this on Sunday too.

Literally last week was a good game (until the final Vikings play).

The biggest problem with Thursday night is that every team gets at least one primetime game, so the bad teams usually get Thursday. Those games would be trash on Sunday too, you just wouldn’t have to watch. :)

LOL Ravens 41 Broncos 10. That one goes to Vegas, but I like the result.

Meanwhile the Chargers' defense rides 3 INT and a blocked FG attempt to hold the Browns to 10 points. Granted it's the Browns but they did beat the Ravens last week.

The most exciting race my be to the bottom for the first draft pick, with the Dolphins, Pats, Browns, Jags, Titans, Raiders, Giants, Panthers, and Saints all sitting on 2 wins. The Jets can't even contend for that.

What the heck were the Seahawks thinking going for it in OT on 4th and 1 deep in Rams territory? To the Rams credit they did not blow the opportunity handed to them.

What a Lions game. Not fun to watch. Ugly - nerve racking. But they came back from way behind and took it from Texas in Texas.

The all important race to the bottom for the first draft pick continues with the Titans, Giants, Jags, Browns and Raiders holding court at 2 wins. The Dolphins have a chance to match them win a loss to the Rams tomorrow night.

You would have -hated- the game. The results were great, but getting there was unbelievably painful. That being said, truly a hard won game and the Lions have tremendous spirit -- which was fun to witness (*upon conclusion)

I watched for the first quarter and then gave in to the kids whining about football being boring. I went to play Dredge and turned the game back on at the end. Probably saved myself some mental and physical health by not watching.

And hey, a win is a win.

pretty impressive to overcome a 5 INT game. At half time you had a 7.9% chance of winning.

Goff had 1 total INT in the previous six games. He had an 83% pass completion rate in those games.

Yesterday, 5 INTs and 50% completion rate. 67% if you count the INTs, in which case 25% of his completions would have been INTs.

I'm fine with getting all the bad out out in one or two regular season games.

One of the best comments I've ever seen (on a YouTube highlights video): The greatest rivalry in sports is the Chicago Bears vs game winning field goals.

Also, thank you to the Lions for opting out of a nail biter game and just going with the straight blowout.
