He could be panhandling to try and raise enough money to buy a bus ticket home but I think he has Meal's phone number so we would see a "Help Zaxxon get home" thread were that the case.

Or he's trying to figure out a tactful way to inform us that the OONFL money has been donated to the Las Vegas economy.

I'm back, the pool cash is safe, and I'm working on entering 90-odd sets of picks and getting results out. Should have them sometime tomorrow.

I stuck to blackjack, $5 and $10 tables, lost about $100 over three nights of gambling, including $40 winnings that I donated to my brother's cause that were promptly flushed down. But I must have gotten that much in free drinks during play. :)

You got it pyperkub. Granted, the Rams are horrific this year, but it's CLEVELAND for crying out loud. Luckily, my saavy paid off. :D

Luckily, that same savvy paid off for everyone else who knows my beloved Rams completely suck this year ;)

Heck, if anyone outside the NFC West is playing Sea, Stl, or SF - except Atlanta - you might as well lock them. The West is horrible.

I want scores! I've had my best week yet with only one incorrect pick (TB over JAX) and all five locks correct. That should net me what, 29 points? Tally 'em up, baby!

OK, the site is updated. Many apologies for the suckitude in my administration skills this year. Please check your scores and entries over for the first half of the year. With so many entries, and with me being relatively rushed on entering picks so far this year, I'd be surprised if I made no errors.

PS - Chris, please, stop with the total, utter domination. You're embarrassing us.

8-)

It figures. The Eagles are having their worst season in years, and I on the other hand am doing much better in this year's pool. I guess I'll never have the best of both worlds.

Keep the faith, PeteRock. They're going to knock the snot out of the Cowboys at the Linc this Sunday. I can feel it!!!

I can't help but keep the faith. I'm the typical die-hard Eagles fan. No matter how much I bad mouth the team and vow never to watch another game, I'm right there every Sunday watching yet again, cheering every down, lamenting every bad play, and it has been this way for 25 years and will continue to be this way until I die, either from old age, or Eagles-induced aggravation.

We're a handful of bonehead plays away from 5-2, and if we do a handful of things right on Sunday it could very well be a close game. But, if we don't, it could be a complete debacle. That's the thing with Philadelphia, you never know what you're going to get, and sometimes they come out and play well, and sometimes you wonder how the hell they manage to remain an NFL franchise. We're something like 12-4 agains the Cowboys during the Andy Reid era, and whenever teams in the NFC East meet, season records usually don't mean much. Upsets are always possible. And I'm the most excited to have Dawkins back from his neck injury.

But, come Monday I could very well be pissed off yet again. Who knows. But I'll continue to hope, cheer, and support the team, regardless of what it does to my blood pressure. That's why Eagles fans drink so much. Thins the blood.
Fly Eagles fly, on the road to victory.
