I'm not sure why you even feel safe making any assumptions any more. This is not an accusation, I just think your record with assumptions should lead you to avoid em.

Anyhow... the dead most certainly get to vote, and Sean is now most certainly dead. I don't know why you would think he wouldn't get to vote.

Assuming he does vote, we are screwed for protection tonight.

Sean will certainly vote for one of the wolves and Newcastle will either vote elsewhere (creating a 1-1 tie), or double-up on Sean's vote accidentally. The net result will be that no human will have protection tonight.

Also, for the course of the game - I venture to guess that the DEAD players will cast their vote, not for who plays their Quirks well - but for who they feel needs the protection, etc...

For instance, once our Medium becomes 100% trusted (provided it's that kind of Medium) - I don't care how well he's played his Quirk - - the Good-Dead had better vote to protect him.
To be fair, you assumed as well.

I'd explain why, but I'm hoping you are right.

The point of my o so dangerous assumption (He doesnt get a vote) is We will assume the Dead guys have to have the votes in before/as someone dies. Well in theory voting for who is the best quirker guy ends when the death occurs. So There is no time for sean to get a vote in.

See what I am saying here?

Yeah I saw that... I went under the assumption new dead wouldn't get in on it... You may not like my desire to avoid reading rules, but it seems when I do, I get in more trouble than when I dont.

Then again I think when you have all day to plan on a separate forums your night kill shouldn't be a huge decision and come quickly when night actually falls (One of them thar speed up the game concepts I guess) Dont get me wrong, 6 votes in 2 hours might mess em up some, but this was not the case, at all.

Still I blame remus for trying to get me killed, the asshattery was abound. You really should come clean about changing that first post, jerkface.

I do declare!

You don't expect dead wolves to vote for a human, but you expect the humans to totally disregard their feelings on alignment when making their Quirk votes.

I agree, I think we all should "stay in character" - to keep things as the game intended - but, again - I seriously hope the Dead-Humans play the same way their Dead-Wolf counter parts play (all be it, totally blind in the human case).

Mod,
If the last living Wolf stops playing his Quirk, do you really want the 2 dead wolves to drop him from their choice of protections?

I would prefer (and it is only a preference, as I said, I will not enforce the issue) that all the dead use the quirks as a guideline.

Well I was hoping they would vote for their fellow wolves (which seems silly since they dont need night protections) so we could use the medium to bring Newcastle back who could then tell us who the wolves voted for.... But now that play seems moot since they should vote for me every day. Dont worry Unagi, this thinking thing may be new to you, but eventually you might get the hang of it.

Sorry I'm not quite dead yet, can't see how the voting process works... lol... Then again, it seems like a good idea to me, have the votes be announced... Might stop some seedy back room politicking, but what do I know, other than remus being an asshat for what he is doing and has more or less told me he was going to take to his frakking grave.

Sidenote: Remus Dies first in any game we play for a while.

as for me being mistaken... meh... it happens. If it makes me evil, so be it. But I'd like ot think the fact I hung Sean willingly and didnt waver while other people tried to get other trains going might give me a pass for a day or three. Hopefully the seer will scan me and announce my amazing goodness. But I wont hold my breath.

Well Remus and I were playing Talisman, then watching the Wings game, then playing Citadels yesterday.

This morning we were out with a friend from Chicago and his sons.

Now?
No excuse for him now.
