My suspects, in order:

Newcastle
RevHempus
Lassr
Scoop

Newcastle rings out the most at me with his "I was silent but lurking" post many many pages back. Newcastle, deliberately silent? More bizarre than me talking. :)

Given that he would fit into the "someone who would convert Chaosraven" camp, it's something I wouldn't object to.

However, Newcastle still stands at the top of my list.

actually am glad you brought that up proner, and I was wondering when it would be brought up against me. However i do have a couple of reasons for me being quiet.

1. First of all I wanted to see who would react to me being quiet. That would tell me who would be paying attention.

2. Second of all I was hoping to spoof the seer role, yeah i know it could be done better by putting outlandish hints out there. But I was hoping that it would draw the bad guys notice and for them to take a chance and off me. Hence putting them one step back in terms of finding our specials and giving our specials more time. Obviously it didn't happen since I am here and they figured Grund and Baktosh a bigger threat. And well since Kraaeggor came out it really brings that to a moot point.

3. Taken that into consideration - if I were targeted at night, and yes this would be after my death. i would hope that someone would go back through the thread and see who had been ignoring me. And perhaps from there be able to figure out the bad guys.

Obviously it didn't happen like that since I am here now withe everyone. I guess a final part and I dont want to say this..since it will sound whiny....but my interest has waned and then upshot at various times during this game. It's not that I dont want to help out. I've skimmed through the thread, but going back through it for an indepth analysis is daunting...last game I did it, it took me about 3 hours to go through it. It's not that I dont want play...but it's just....daunting for lack of a better word...to do it in a method which i feel would be thorough. Thats 70+ pages we're talking about. I mean day 1 took how many pages? Guess I should just suck it up and get on with it.

Also - nice catch unagi.

Rev - "poke the we" often?

alright sucking it up...i need to help out.

Of these 4 players we who would likely convert Chaos
No guys i accidentally left the we in there when i deleted half of a long sentence. I meant to leave the question.... of these 4 players who would likely convert chaos.
The original sentence was.... Of these 4 players we need to think about who would likely convert Chaos, and why they would likely convert chaos. I shortened it after preview and missed a word. That is all that really happened. The "it was meant to play with badguys" was sarcasm.
The blue parts are what I deleted or at least meant to. Th original post had a list of why I thought Chaos was the convert, but I deleted that stuff too because I felt it was redundant.
Sheesh...... May I please get out of the corner now???? I promise to behave........

These final days are nerve racking. I keep telling myself, "It's just game"

I was ready to vote Scoop this round then RevHempus started swaying me to vote for him with his posts. Then the post above by scoop makes me think I was right about scoop after all.
Just looks like he's trying to get a Rev bandwagon going after Unagi started questioning RevHempus on the previous page, thus drawing attention away from himself.

You left yourself out. I know you'd love to kill Chaosraven but that might point a finger at you so if you can't kill him why not get him to join you.
So, of the one's left, I'd say you were most likely to convert him but you're not listed there. Of the ones you list, there's really no history there between any of them so I really can't draw any conclusion.

I don't know if any of them have ever been bad guys with Chaos. I haven't, that much I know.

This is a textbook example of how to cast suspicion on other players while trying to look reasonable.

Trying to look reasonable has been Lassr "MO" this entire game.

Of course I can't expect people to take my word for it so, I will work on linking to so post for tomorrow evening.

Yeah well you wern't the only one. If it wasn't for Lassr's scan I was on the down low.... even had a couple people trusting me.....

However, this time I am an innocent. Leading me to the O-ring will prove that. It is convienient for the badguys that I am here for them to use as lynch bait. Probably Chaos' last bit of advice before he fried.

So where do we go from here.

I think this is where I need to go. Newcastle you sir are Evil..... Why, you may ask...... oh wait... you wouldn't have to. You know you are already. :P

If you can dig through those 70+ pages and find something then more power to you. I tried it Friday but the forum was so slow I gave up. I'm playing off memory (Oh geez) and notes I've taken.

And since I am still up I will leave you guys with this thought AGAIN:

If you are a bad guy would you:

A) Post alot and be controversial. go nutz over a few posts because you are getting frustrated and try to get yourself killed because you really are getting sick of everyone assuming you are a bad guy all the freakin time.

OR

B) Play it safe. Post enough but not too much. Be playful, joke around, "Try" to be funny and still cast suspicions on the idiots (Remus and Scoop) who run their mouths too much.

Lassr's game has been Option B.

Newcastle's game has been Option B.

Rev's game has been Option Z(still can't read him)

pr0ner's game has been Option pr0ner.

Scoop20906's game has been Option A (or Dumbass)

Ok, lets look at how the two KNOWN bad guys handled themselves.

Chaosraven's game has been Option B.

Triggercut's game has been Option A but his job as Judas was to cause confusion. Hard to do that and play silent.

A question to ponder about Newcastle.

He was quiet for a very long time and he says it was mostly due to losing interest with the game and deciding he wanted to be quiet also.

BUT, when Unagi was asking for Stessier to post verbatim notes from the Mason's forum, Newcastle came out of nowhere to say this was outside the game rules and was pretty forceful about it. At the time, I felt he was just trying to protect the integrity of the game but thinking back he posted several times about the topic.

Makes me wonder if he was worried Stessier might have something from the Mason forum Newcastle didn't want to make it to the main thread. I realize this is meta but ...

Something else to consider...

Problem with that theory on me is I've been casting suspicion on you for the WHOLE game. There are 2 bad guys left. I hope the last 2 are not pr0ner and Newcastle. Does not compute that both would be quite. (unless they converted Chaos to be the loud mouth of the group but then again he was more quite than usual).

RevHemp or Scoop = Legion
Newcastle or pr0ner = Balaam

My point of view.

Here is how I see today as going. The 3 trusted players should NOT vote until the last votes are needed. There are 5 of us unknowns left. The badguys can not afford to vote for each other. If you are a goodguy, you know what to do to give our 2 trusteds the most info to work with going into tomarrow.

I would like to say here that I was in error...

I could have sworn I read somewhere earlier that you would be happy to kill Chaos when I was doing a search of your posts through your profile. SO I went back and tried to find it again. Here it is but the post was of you quoting Remus.
RevHempus71 wrote:
Remus West wrote:Oh thats just friggin great. Now who do I kill on the first night if I am evil? I could go with tradition and kill Chaosraven because thats always fun. I could kill RevHempus71 but that would only really be fun if I can weasel a promise from Austin not to give him any spoiler information when he dies. Or, and here is the kicker, I could prevemptive strike against Sean cause he is certainly going to be coming after me. Him and his damned prejudice ministry. Plus, I think I'd enjoy sending him PMs that say "Hey it was fun playing with you. Been forever since we had a chance to game. To bad you are dead now."

What to do? What to do?
Oh I see how it is........ Death to Remus......
When searching through your profile it makes it look like you said that but when I went to the post...well Remus said that.

OK, 2 can play that game (a theory to fit your target):

My theory is Legion would use up his usefulness on night one after the conversion. He would be free to draw attention away from Balaam, if needed, by drawing attention to himself but then do something really odd that would make people say "Damn, a demon would never do that!" Thus giving him a free ride until the end game.

You're totally grasping for straws there, Rev.

Note: The 2 original baddies and Cretan had no idea who Judas was. I also admitted that I missed on the Trig vote since I thought we were using that to test voting abilities; I went out to lunch, and the vote was done.

I think the Chaosraven vote is more telling. Look who missed that vote: Lassr and Scoop.

Look who voted on Remus: Lassr and Scoop.

Yes, they voted on Triggercut, but they had no way of telling Trig was Judas.

I missed it because it happened quickly while I was away (I think it was lunch time). I did vote for Chaos when I got back but realized the majority had already been met.
