You have to leave it in the box by the road until the guy comes around every day.

There are a few methods.

Manual from Sprint

Wiki on T9 text entry.

Short answer. Getting the third letter from one of the number keys requires (at least) three presses. I forget if it gives you the number first or last.

Did you tell him about putting the flag up? You have to put the flag up, otherwise the guy doesn't stop.

Billy Connelly has had Alzheimer's for years and he's having trouble recognizing friends now.

I don't have a link atm but this is such a shitty way to go.

GRAMMAR TRIVIA: Can AI be a plural noun? As in: "AIs have trouble understanding natural language." Or would you expect that to be "AI has trouble..."?

It comes down to whether one considers AIs to be discreet, individual units that one can refer to in aggregate (like people), or if AI is a higher-level term (like humanity). That is, one can say "People have trouble..." but not "Humanity have trouble..." I am of the opinion that AIs are unique snowflakes (maybe due to all the years I've spent playing games against them), while Wife is sure that AI is generic, and referring to it in the plural is just weird. I haven't found an official ruling and she isn't buying "I'm a copy editor and I say so." She's a tech writer and she says No.

You and Wife are using two different definitions of AI, which is perfectly cromulent. Wife is referring to the field of study while you are referring to an intelligence (OED: "a person or being with the ability to acquire and apply knowledge") that is artificial rather than natural. I therefore rule that you are both correct. Such is the nature of the English language.

There's also a mass-noun/count-noun distinction going on.

Think "I need more beer" vs "I need more beers." Both are grammatically correct, but they conceptualize beer differently.

The salient question is "What does MIT think?", since they're my client. I think I'll go with the higher-level generic singular (it's ultimately up to their copy editor, who probably won't change it back). /shakes fist/ You win this one, Wife.

Pro tip: Always triple-check the hyperlink when sending an e-mail to a client.

I'm really hoping my client enjoys the the "15 Advanced Monster Hunter World Tips" video I just accidentally sent them the link to, when I meant to link to a video about our latest project offering.

Lol.

I always (well, I try to always) check what I'm cutting and pasting. It's like one of life's lessons.

That and "Don't actually put any recipients into an email until you're ready to send it"

Another of life rules. However for me it's because I might send it by accident, mid-sentence. Like, I'm writing and suddenly the email disappears and re-appears in the sent box. That said, don't write emails when you're agree angry (OO forum posts are ok, because they are entertaining for others).

I'm guessing you meant "angry", which - along with the recipient reminder - is excellent advice.

Sometimes the planets just align, man.

Could be worse. A friend of a friend got their colonoscopy and endoscopy scheduled for the same day.
Hope they don't use the same camera.

I’ll just chime in here. The colonoscopy itself is basically a total ‘non event’.

You don’t feel a thing while you are out, and you don’t wake up feeling anything either.

The mental build up and fear is much bigger.

Now if you have something the colonoscopy finds in time to treat, you just did yourself the biggest favor ever.
And if it’s just a bunch of polyps (that are snipped and removed as they find them) then you have that peace of mind.

You should get it done Daehawk

Man up. For your wife.

It's a known phenomenon among groups of older males. If they hang out together (even just online), eventually their colonoscopies start to synchronize with one another. Nature is amazing.
