It's a burner because it burns things not because it's burning. The heating element is in the oven not on the stove. Or so I've always called it/heard it referred to.

And look at all the regulations whore houses have..........not sure if that falls under food or flowers tho.
Probably under "food", because I'm fairly certain the flowers are long gone.

Not in my towns! I've been involved in sting operations not only for mobile vendors but also garbage trucks. The mobile vendors for selling food without a license and the garbage trucks for driving down prohibited roads (based on their weight).
But yeah, food trucks are almost always great/horrific. There's none I can recall that are mediocre. The worst mobile vendor I ever saw had me finish the inspection in about a minute. When inside the truck, opened a cabinet to look for hand sanitizers or cleaner and roaches just came running out all over the floor and walls.
"Nuke the truck from orbit, I'm outta here."

It's a burner two states north of Daehawk, too. And this is a state that still calls margarine 'oleo', bell peppers 'mangos', and cantaloupe 'mush melon.'

Isn't that confusing when they want to buy and actual fruit? Do that ask for a bell pepper instead?

India builds largest statue in the world at a cost of $500 million. Reminds me of what the Colossus of Rhodes must have been sorta like. 600 ft tall. Look at it compared to the river by it.

If it looked like that everybody would have sailed away.
They're guaranteed at least a billion tourists anyways.
So many of the "pieces" don't seem to fit right. I hope they fix that. I'd hate to have to write India about my displeasure with it.

There's nothing stopping you from staying at the current time. Of all the people here, you seem like you would be the least effected by it (based on your description of daily activities). It might be kind of fun - stick a flag out front declaring your house part of the Central Time Zone for the next few months.

Today I saved a bit of money (a whopping $3/month!) by switching from my ISP's legacy 100/10/unlimited plan to their current 150/15/unlimited plan. I just checked after rebooting the modem, and my actual download rate was 197Mbps (it was typically 115Mbps under the old plan). Totally worth the hour or so I spent on the phone with their customer service reps and horrible, horrible muzak.

It means exactly nothing if Token never made a reference to it.
My chest hurt from laughter. Vans with 160-mph speedometers, jinking over curbs in nose-to-tail trains. They slung through corners in little yaw-slipped arcs, like Trans-Am cars that had grown fat in old age. A gray one with passenger windows, drifting. A faded yellow one with anodized Nitron shocks—British dampers that cost as much as a good used Honda—and a rear wing clamped to the rain gutters with Vise-Grips. They were all 1971–2003 Dodge Rams, originally sold in America but imported to Asia after the end of a much different life, mostly short-wheelbase, most with a 318 V-8. The Japanese call such things “Dajiban”—Dodg-e-van, dah-jee-bahn. A phonetic mash-up, like how the Japanese name for a hot dog is simply hottodoggu, or the French version of “the rugby player” is le rugbyman. A guy in the tower was handing out colorful stickers. Each held a drawing of a Ram 150 on 16-inch Watanabes and a plug for Dodgevanracing.com. That site had prompted me to visit Ebisu Circuit, an afternoon’s drive north of Tokyo, and the annual track day of an informal club for owners of track-prepped Dodge vans. I found 37 of the things there, parked in a tiny paddock, marshaled like Hannibal’s elephants.

Subwoofers are generally good. I enjoy the extra bass I get from mine in my surround sound system.
But hearing a neighbor's subwoofer thump the night away through shared walls in a condo building? Annoying as fuck.

Reddit: You can rename a state, but the new name must piss off as many people living there as possible. What do you rename, and to what?

I'd go with "Reeeeee..." (how do you type squealing like a pig?) but that would probably just turn them on.

In the middle of a heavy storm. A tornado came through town about 3 miles north of us just now and is still moving. Sirens blaring but we dont hear a thing here. Just wind and rain here at the house.

Great call. Show was fantastic and too short lived. Was like a mix of Goonies and X files.

Ive been food poisoned a few too many times in my life so I toss perfectly good stuff Im sure. Like old meat thats frozen is one. Normally. Ive learned a lesson.
Back earlier this year...or was is late last year?...anyways Food City brought us some free food because we didn't have any. In that pack were 4 packs of frozen meat. We ate 2 but I put 2 others in the freezer and forgot them. One was pork shoulder steak with bone and the other assorted pork chop with bone. Both were old at the time because they have special marked down stickers for $1.89 a pack. I found them in there about a month ago and had planned to toss them.
But here we were the other day with nothing. No fridge items and no cabinet stuff but ramen. So I got them out and rinsed them. They were both frozen blocks and I could not separate them so I salted, peppered, and added onion powder and garlic powder to both and sat them in the crockpot on high for 5 hours.
Figured they'd smell bad taste bad and either make us sick or kill us. I really didn't care at that point. But they turned out melt in your mouth tender, smelled great, and tasted AMAZO! We are still eating on them. Plan to buy more meat on super sale like those were marked and freeze it then have over next year. Cuban sandwiches, bbq, and other assorted styles and ways. SO GOOD.
