Before I found my current delivery job, I ghostwrite articles for an outfit called Verblio.com. Clients go to them putting out feelers for articles, and writers can then fulfill those feelers, and then clients will pay for them, with Verblio getting their cut, which is believed to be about 25-35%. Typical 300-500 word article pays about $10. They payout via Paypal every Monday, and you can write as much as you can. (writing over the request gets you no extra money though)
I've gotten a few hundred from them. I wouldn't do it full-time (too much time spent in front of keyboard), but for part-time work and limited mobility, it may not be a bad idea, if you can write.

My sister made decent money for awhile selling antiques on ebay. It does require one to frequent yard sales and flea markets, and to recognize treasure amidst a lot of trash. But she enjoyed the hunt, and could often turn a 50-cent purchase into $25 or better. This probably isn't a good fit for Dae (too much running around), but the point is there are many ways to make money without becoming a wage slave if you only need supplemental income.

Anyone know anything about this new topical treatment for gray/flaky toenails? They come in pen form and contains chitosan among other ingredients. I can't find any scholarly literature on them, but they are all over ebay and Amazon. I bought a set of two pens, and I've used one, and I *think* I saw some improvements, but it'd take weeks, if not months, for the nail to grow out and the whole nail cleared up.

Had to put down one of my dogs today. She was a French Bulldog and as friendly as friendly could be. She was my wife's favorite as well as the favorite of everyone who visited.
She was also the world's fattest Frenchy. About killed me burying her in my backyard. She was ten.
I think she had the dog flu. Troubled breathing and hadn't eaten anything in a week. Hadn't more than a bite of meat in the last month.
Now we're down to 3 Yorkies and the world's fattest weenie dog.
A Florida man found a grenade while fishing and then took the explosive to Taco Bell

Alas, that's easier said than done with Windows 10 (it typically involves either registry hacking or using the Group Policy Editor).
FWIW though, the free Windows Update MiniTool provides full manual control over Windows Updates even with Win 10 Home Edition, and allows you to choose exactly which updates you want installed.

A tiny little bird got in the house. It started here in the bedroom and flew out into the rest of the house. I opened the front door and tried to shoo it out or catch it. I lost it after it got in a window facing the sun then flew off. I think it went out but cant be sure. Waiting.
Had one do the same thing about 11+ years ago. Then I chased it from one end of the home to the other until it tired out and then held it a bit to let it rest and let it go.
Me and Donna always heard its a sign of a coming death in the family. Well Im the only human here so heres hoping. Not my dogs though please I mean that. Others say its a messenger. Perhaps Donna. Or just a bird and all superstitious nonsense. Whatever I bet it was cold. Hope its ok.

50 years ago The Beatles played their last gig ....on top the Apple building roof in London.
I remember in the late 60s some friend of ours in southern Calif moved up to the base of the mountains (San Dimas) and got cable. The LA area had some 8-10 over the air channels then and I thought what a waste of money. Of course they probably couldn't pick up the local channels from their location at the time but I didn't think of that.

A few weeks back my left leg woke me up cramping super bad. Lots of pain and took a few moments to stretch it out and get it to stop. For the next 3 or 4 days it was so sore it was a little hard to walk on . Last night that same leg cramped up again and woke me. This time when I flipped over to stretch it out my right leg joined in on the fun. So there I am laying flat of my back trying to stretch both legs flat out and in bad pain. I actually yelled out loud "Donna help me!" I just blurted it out. Maybe my mind figured she could. Or for that moment though she was still here. If so she would have rubbed the cramps out. But nope had to give it time. Im betting by tonight or tomorrow Ill have a really hard time getting around.
Im having a banana for breakfast and I never eat when I first get up. I could tell the last couple days it wanted to crap. Id step up and when Id bend my leg Id get that cramp like feeling. I tried to prevent it with foods and stretching and heat. Nope.
I haven't had a cramped leg in years. Something has changed since Donna died. Probably a lot ya..But here Im thinking how much I move is increased with all Im doing and my eating is worse.

Those cramps really suck. I had a leg almost cramp a couple weeks ago. I woke up in time to stop it - I basically drive my thumbs into the muscle to prevent it from contracting - which also hurts like hell. It was sore for several days after that. It'd been many, many years since the last time it happened.
My wife has never had it happen. She had no idea what I was talking about. So let me just say that you aren't alone. I feel your pain.

I couldn't rub mine. My back is out and I could not sit up in bed. I just had to stretch them out. So much pain. As I said Donna would have rubbed them. I think Im going to discover so many problems that living alone brings I never thought of. Thanks for the understanding. It helps some .

Potassium is good for muscle cramps. Bananas have potassium. Your body knows this and tricked your brain into eating a banana. Or maybe Donna heard you.

Add potatoes to your diet. A medium sized baked potato has more potassium than two large bananas. Or spinach. Or sweet potatoes.

Im not eating much. I still have the cabinet full from the first of the month. Im eating some cookies a day. A couple spoons of chicken salad, poptart.....little things . I haven't cooked since Donna got sick. I dont feel like it. I cant do it. I dont care. I may heat a frozen pizza someday soon. Maybe not.The only time Ive ate well is the times my sister takes me and buys me something in a restaurant. I bring half home and warm it later. Its just not in me any longer. Sad all this food and Donna not here to enjoy with me. Its not that that keeps me from eating it. i just dont feel like doing anything like food. I eat enough junk to be here.
Only been 1 month today. Ill say that in a year probably.

Quickest way to ease the leg cramp at night in my experience is to stand on that leg and walk around a bit. It almost immediately stretches the muscle out and relieves the pain without the additional trauma of trying to rub it out. Give it a shot next time it wakes you up at night.

I'll second that. Although I will add that, at first, it's not at all easy to start walking on it.

Being married to a Veterinary Technician colors ones thoughts in often unpredictable ways.
This morning my wife handed me a Ziploc baggie with something brown and hard in it and asked me to put it in the fridge. What follows are the thoughts that quickly went through my head:
1. What do we need a fecal sample for?
2. Why is it squared?
3. Did we get a wombat?
3. Oh, it's a Hershey's chocolate.
