Yeah, at no point in that statement does he say anything even remotely resembling the sentiment "eat a bag of dicks". If anything, he's playing it close to the vest and trying to appease Donnie by saying he wants his claims to be examined.
We shall see how Agolf interprets it...
The link you posted may have been the issue. It was from Saturday. A more recent statement from Pence was just released:
"It is my considered judgment that my oath to support and defend the Constitution constrains me from claiming unilateral authority to determine which electoral votes should be counted and which should not."
Is that perhaps what you were referring to?
Yes , I heard it and erroneously thought that first link was the same one. Yours is much closer to dick bag.

Ah k I was super confused and thought my reading comprehension had failed me or something. The dems should object to a random state just to not feel left out.

Objecting to Texas would be righteous fun.

I thought the boxes that held the electoral votes were pretty cool and would make for an awesome board game box!

If it weren't for the fact that
a) McConnell is evil incarnate
b) He's spent the last 4 years helping to create the monster he's now facing
this statement might have been his finest moment.
McConnell warns Republicans about refusing to certify the vote
"We cannot simply declare ourselves a national board of elections on steroids," he says.
"The voters, courts, and the states have all spoken," he says. "If we overrule them, it would damage our republic forever."
He says he’s concerned about a “scramble for power” and says the “Electoral College would cease to exist.” Says “we can’t keep drifting apart...with a hostility for one another.”
Unfortunately, as I wrote, he's complicit in all this.

I'm having trouble following his nonsense, but I can say that his speech is more slurred than usual, and his word choice mistakes are all over the place.
I could have sworn I heard him call Joe Kennedy "John Kennedy" at one point during that speech. Which, I now realize, I conflated the the Mass. Democrat with the Louisiana Republican.

Too quick.

....
Yeah...normally I'm not this violent. But right now I'm more outraged than I have been in ages. Trump's speech a little while ago was my tipping point. I just saw a sitting president demand to remain in power after losing an election. And instead of trying to calm things down, he's stirring the pot...basically calling for civil war.

You know it is crazy because there is no mention on any of the big news sites front page. Tensions are incredibly high.
Edit: WaPo mentions that the police held them back at least.

US Capitol on lockdown after escalating situation among demonstrators
From Ted Barrett and Manu Raju
The US Capitol is on lockdown during a tense situation with demonstrators outside the building, according to Capitol police officers.
A CNN employee tried to leave the building and couldn’t because police said the building is on lockdown.
Congress is currently in session to count and certify the Electoral College votes for president and vice president.

Trying not to get too worked up over every breathless Twitter report, but the fact that this whole thing is being reported by legit news groups as a combat front live journal is somewhat unnerving.
WASHINGTON (AP) — Senate recesses Electoral College debate after protesters force lockdown of Capitol.
So...now what?

CNBC keeps showing footage but not talking about specifics other than there being 1000's of protestors present.
Now reporting evacuations. Breach of the building. Suspicious package found.
MarquardtA reports on CNN that he's watching pro-Trump protesters breaching barricades and scaling the Capitol. He says there is "very little pushback from law enforcement."
I sure hope Trump doesn't want to walk around there with an upside down Bible.

The police are most likely vastly outnumbered. I'm not sure there's much they can do.
