That's because it's FAKE NEWS when the non-Fox media does it, but it's okay when the administration does it. Duh.

I haven't marched against anything since college, but I'll be out there if he tries to fire Mueller. While violence worries me a little, I mostly just hate crowds. Maybe I'll just stand on a curb by myself and wave a sign at passing motorists. What could possibly go wrong with that?LordMortis wrote: ↑Tue Apr 10, 2018 4:57 pm I dunno. I've never been moved to join pubic protest and that's my line to join. I don't know what other people's lines are and what happens when they get crossed but It's rare that public protest doesn't turn ugly, which is a big reason I don't risk joining. I don't to be involved in events that turns into problems that purport to try and solve problems, but what choice do you have when the process of arbitration fails explicitly because the processes controller is also the on being investigated and is also the one who made if fail? That's end of line.
I've marched three times since Jan 2016, and the energy in Philadelphia has always been really fun and really positive.Kraken wrote: ↑Tue Apr 10, 2018 5:13 pmI haven't marched against anything since college, but I'll be out there if he tries to fire Mueller. I need a clever slogan. Something like "I can't believe I'm protesting FOR a lawyer".

Same here. Even had the talk over the weekend with Mrs Skinypupy (who is not politically inclined in the least) about how we will coordinate kids, schedules, etc if it happens.Hamlet3145 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 10, 2018 5:39 pm In my life, I've never gone out and protested anything before.
That said, I already have my sign. Already have a back pack with supplies. Already know where my local protest location will be. Been ready for weeks.
Likewise.Kraken wrote: ↑Tue Apr 10, 2018 5:13 pm

That's what I'm saying. I have no urge to protest. I like my quiet corner of the earth and just want to go along to get along. I really don't want to be inconvenienced in to protesting. All it takes to keep me sitting on my ass is don't mess with the investigation.
Completely with you on this. The LAST thing I want to do is join a protest. I hate protests and have never joined one. By and large, not because I hate what the protesters are trying to accomplish (I often agree with them), but because I just can't stand large groups all doing the same thing. It always reminds me of lemmings. There also always seem to be rotten apples in the group that make me embarrassed to be associated with any group that claims them.LordMortis wrote: ↑Tue Apr 10, 2018 7:44 pmThat's what I'm saying. In some ways I worry more about Trump firing Rosenstein than Mueller. The public is primed for a firing of Mueller, such that there will be mass people in the streets if that happens. Not that the GOP wouldn't let Trump get away with it in the end, BUT at the least there's a lot of uncertainty involved. Rosenstein's not exactly a minor figure, but he doesn't have Mueller's profile, so I'm not sure how the public would react. And if Trump can replace Rosenstein, he can hamper Mueller pretty effectively.

I was trying to conjure communists and millennials and millennial communists, but I can see it if nobody stretched that far with me.
So the raid on Cohen was about sex-affair hush-money payments and even New York taxi license fraud, but here Trump announces that it must be about evidence of collusion and obstruction.ellipses whiner wrote:....doing things that nobody thought possible, despite the never ending and corrupt Russia Investigation, which takes tremendous time and focus. The Failing New York Times wrote another phony story. It was political pundit Doug Schoen, not a Ukrainian businessman, who asked me to do a short speech by phone (Skype), hosted by Doug, in Ukraine. I was very positive about Ukraine-another negative to the Fake Russia C story!
So much Fake News about what is going on in the White House. Very calm and calculated with a big focus on open and fair trade with China, the coming North Korea meeting and, of course, the vicious gas attack in Syria. Feels great to have Bolton & Larry K on board. I (we) are doing things that nobody thought possible, despite the never ending and corrupt Russia Investigation, which takes tremendous time and focus. Naw dawg. He got his tax cut through - now it is time for his payout back in industry. He likely won't do anything to buck the system as he heads out the door.Captain Caveman wrote: ↑Wed Apr 11, 2018 8:34 am Reports are that Paul Ryan is retiring. Plus, he wants to be able to run in 2020/2024 as both "didn't lose his re-election campaign" and also "I wasn't part of the whole Trump scandal, I'm a New Republican!"malchior wrote: ↑Wed Apr 11, 2018 9:09 amNaw dawg. Russia has attacked our democratic process and our security infrastructure, attempted assassinations on our allies' soil, and covered for a regime that even Trump has had to admit is monstrous, but the "bad blood" is caused by the investigation?Much of the bad blood with Russia is caused by the Fake & Corrupt Russia Investigation, headed up by the all Democrat loyalists, or people that worked for Obama. Mueller is most conflicted of all (except Rosenstein who signed FISA & Comey letter). No Collusion, so they go crazy!

Isn't fighting back against an investigation sort of the definition of obstruction?Holman wrote: ↑Wed Apr 11, 2018 7:13 am

Trump must be worried he went too far in complaining about Russia in Syria yesterday.
That is really funny. I couldn't decide if it was real or not. I eventually decided the target audience would have no clue what those were.Jag wrote: ↑Wed Apr 11, 2018 10:09 am$iljanus wrote: ↑Wed Apr 11, 2018 7:28 amEverything you wanted to know about raiding an attorney’s office
You know you can't take him literally. You know he means. That's a side effect of being the first politician out there telling in like it is, telling the truth.Ralph-Wiggum wrote: ↑Wed Apr 11, 2018 10:14 am Isn't fighting back against an investigation sort of the definition of obstruction?
