She came up and basically said Trump was a fool for not coming down on Nazis, right?

With the lead up, I totally expected to hear her trying to walk some BS "line" on the issue, but she didn't - she stepped up and spoke more clearly than Trump did on the issue, no?

She very much did, and I think highly of her for that. I just wanted clarification on the Tweet since I don't always pick up on social cues as well as most others. As noted, my definition of "playing" was apparently different than at least that of the Twitterer's world is. But its nice to hear you might agree.

I have a whole new view of the UK now that I've spent a couple of years following their news. That is one fucked up country/kingdom. There are so many viewpoints that the country tries to hold simultaneously that it's like watching a man slip slowly into madness. Except it's an entire country.

The amount of absolute nonsense that is spoken unironically in that country is unreal. And that's just the leaders. The man on the street seems even more crazy.

I'm really confused by Kelly's reactions. If it was Trump doing his usual stream of consciousness campaign speech thing, I'd understand. But these were prepared remarks, and it sounded like Trump was sticking to the prompter. That means that Kelly should have known about, and probably signed off on, everything he said.

His reactions suggest that either he had terrible gas during the speech, or he thought it sounded worse coming out of Trump's mouth than it did on paper, Trump was ad-libbing portions of it, or he didn't see the final text of the speech, which would mean he doesn't have as much control as we've been led to believe.

I'm not confused personally because I basically can't rely on two snapshots to tell me what was happening or how he was feeling. They are literally a instant of time with little context. I actually don't like photo releases like this because they are potentially deceptive. They also might be really incisive. The point is that is pretty hard to discern from what we have. IMO stuff like this muddies the waters instead of informs. It also makes it easier for Trump to point and scream about #fakenews.
