I have a question about the shoot and the deadline..

The Shoot must be taken before the deadline.

Do we have until Friday for BOTH a shot and lynch, or will a shot reset our time limit?

If it doesn't reset, then we need Unagi to declare his victim tonight so that we have time for the response, then shoot tomorrow and quickly pick a lynch victim. The shot is blind, though, so I guess the actual death shouldn't effect our vote at all except to eliminate a candidate.

I think you should shoot Austin or Bubbles.

I thought it was pretty clear.

The deadline for DAY 2 is: Friday 5pm EST.

Period.

I must shoot before that deadline and/or before a majority is reached, because, as usual: The 'Shooter' is a day power.

I would actually be upset if it reset, as I would not have made this move right now if the clock re-sets.
I don't know why on earth the clock would re-set just because I make a shot.

Regarding me 'faking' this.... We can at least agree that if I am faking this, it could only be because the Shooter was converted last night...

I am waiting for a while here - mainly for 2 reasons.
1. If a Seer has an EC - it would help us a lot to learn that now. (Although, I admit if I was the Seer sitting on that, there is still a risk in stepping forward)
2. I want to hear who everyone would pick to be shot. Get it on record.

Only about 10% of me is willing to wait until tomorrow for this shot.

My only suggestion is you make sure the target has time to speak. You already indicated you would, but if you take the shot tonight, that might be cutting it close.

It would also be nice if you tabulated all our shot requests. I mean, it's not like you have anything else to do. :D

Does anyone else miss Kraegor's presence? As soon as I saw Unagi's post, I heard the whole diatribe without even trying. :P

Since shooting will not reveal any taint and we'd have to wait till morning to find out who is checked I say it's Ok to kill a silent (Purge or Bubbles). I have no qualms with Austin as a target. His quiet demeanor is reminding of a few other times he's been evil.

Heh. I'm taking an extra class this 1/2 semester and must read not the forums. I'm a poor choice, but it'll be up to Unagi anyway. I really, really think stessier should be shot - or Purge/Bubbles but an active player gives us more to work with I think. (That said I think I'll be out for future games where we can't get people to commit to showing up at least once every couple days)

If the Apothecary is required to get info from the Shot and the Lynch then we may end up with no info at all from any of them if the Apothecary is one of them or the Night Kill.

10 Players

9 "Targets" for Unagi/Village

Shot Lynch Lynch

With potentially 3 within 9 we stand a decent chance of Getting at Least One.

If we get either no info or NonBadGuy (better stessier?) from the 2 today...

Huh - yes, it looks like we would have gotten the seed even if he were converted.

But tomorrow...we will know. If we get the seed, the Apothecary was alive today. Fun!

Good question.
Also, I forget if we asked this already or not (perhaps in the last game)

Tru1cy.
Is the order of events like this:

1. Living Apothecary submits scan order
2. EC makes a kill or conversion.
3. Only a Living and Unconverted Apothecary gets Results (and those Results are shared anonomously in the morning)

With the way he has interpreted everything else, I'm betting I'm right. Otherwise, what is the point of putting the Geneseed collection first if the Convert/Kill trumps it anyway? Might as well just put the EC action first and everything else after.

Yeah, it looks like he was saying the order of events was:

1. Living and Unconverted Apothecary submits scan order
2. Living and Unconverted Apothecary gets Results (and those Results are shared anonomously in the morning)
3. EC makes a kill or conversion.

The question that remains would be:

If #3 results in a dead or converted Apothecary - does the dead or converted Apothecary still pass on his info to us in the morning...

And I believe you (stessier) are saying: If not, what's the point in making his tasks happen first....

You are likely right.

If I had to shoot someone I'd probably pop a cap in Lassr. He's just too reasonable.

OK,
I am very much split between two choices right now, but I am happy to say that both are players with at least one "shoot vote" on them at the moment.

Lassr, Could you do me the great honor of wrapping your mouth around the barell of this gun please?

awkward

I will likely wait until I get into work tomorrow morning to place the actual shoot order.

Well, I already said I would shoot Theohall. I still would rather he go than Lassr but I have nothing against shooting Lassr...trouble is I have nothing for it either. Theohall, on the other hand, made that comment about "folks feel Unagi is aggressive" (may not be the exact quote as I did not go back and look at it to be certain) before following my vote. Unagi noted that "folk = Remus" and I got to thinking. Why does that have to equal Remus. I, alone, do not make folk. Folk implies a plural where there was no other. Which made me think someone else thought you were aggressive too. Which made me think Theohall was talking to someone else. Anyway, I'm sure you see where I am going with this. I was trying to hold off being this open about why so I could try and see if anyone else supported him or seemed to work at spacing themselves from him but I really think he is a better target than Lassr right now.

Anyway, it is your gun so shoot who you want but if you shoot Lassr I am still going to push for a lynch of Theohall.

I like Lassr to eat a bullet more even now. I wonder what the baddies are saying in the forum.

"WTF, how did Unagi finger Lassr?"

"Isn't it obvious, Scoop leads him around by the nose."

"We should have killed scoop instead of converting you last night. Big f*ck up."

"Man, I was sure people would be all over him by now, I mean, does anyone even read the crap he posts. He looks so guilty. I'm posting something about it now."

"No, don't!! It will just give Scoop ammunition later. Man, we aren't even in the same friggin league with this guy."

"Ok, its agreed. We all keep out mouths shut for now and let Lassr see if he can ride this out. Lassr, your on your own."

"Gee, thanks guys. SCOOPED AGAIN!"

Still sticking with shoot Scoop. Shoot me, the Emperor and his kids win earlier, 'cause another plain soldier dies along with the already dead mipe. So feel free if you want to see Chaos-spawn running this ship.

I got nothin' else to offer.

If I do get shot - start looking at Remus and Scoop.
