IF they reveal now, we assume they are good. We also can lynch them if we dont win by killing 2 evils. Game in hand for team good.
If they choose to stay quiet then they choose to play on either side and could still win with team evil.
I really think we need to tease out the options of what Emilia could or could not do and the options that they have before them.
Yeah, if Emiliana is good, she needs to come forward now.
Else, we can assume her conversion has occurred.

Per triggercut he had to be Rodrigo or Emilia. 2nd vote was near the majority and he had not popped in yet so just added a little pressure. Of course, it ends up triggercut was playing with us....

Lassr is certainly a person of interest at this point.
Would love to hear from Emiliana.
In fact, I'll pull my vote off RMC and hope she speaks up.

Not in the small game. (This is the small game-- the one without Bianca). In the large game (i.e.,
with Bianca), it's mobile.
Newcastle wrote:Is the hankie given to a team evil player at all?
The hankie is randomly allocated to someone at the beginning of the game, and that person is informed that it's among his belongings. According to the rule, anyone other than Iago, Roderigo, and Emilia may be the original bearer of the textile in question.
Newcastle wrote:Or will the hankie be given to a good player? What happens if a person who has the hankie dies or is lynched. I'll peruse the FAQ next to check on any answers here as well.
According to the rules, Emilia is able to search the belongings of the dead.

Man I wish that were true. The only way that works is if you scanned a special and decided to kill them sight unseen. Possible, but that would be nearly the worst evil luck ever.

That would certainly explain the "why" on Qantaga, wouldn't it? They had a 1 in 4 shot of Qantaga being a very good kill...and oops.
Not sure I'm buying it at all, though. I'm guessing that it means that Emilia's been turned, which is pretty bad news.

No, you're reading it wrong. It's possible that Q was scanned on night 1 by Roderigo, and came back as Not a Venetian Gentleman.
From the Rulez on page 1, if Roderigo scans someone, he finds out that the person scanned is either powered or unpowered:
Grundbegriff wrote:If it is not, then he may safely infer that the inhabitant is either Othello or Desdemona or Cassio or Emilia.
The RMC scenario is that Q was scanned night 1, came back as a special. They decided to off him on night 2 and rolled snake-eyes.
It isn't improbable at all.
Just...I don't believe RMC.

On top of that, if true, Newcastle could be Emilia.
Emilia finds the hankie on Night 1 or 2, joins evil. Trig and I come out, so they know they killed Desi and Newcastle can claim the role we would never lynch.
How's that for paranoid?

It would also explain why RMC would say Emilia was dead. Cause there really is no reason to even try that gambit.

Seriously? that would be wasted. why would I come out when I did. I had ZERO pressure to do so? nary a vote, and nary a lynch mob at my door step. I am more objecting to the scan being wasted on me than me being scanned. Sure go for scanning me...but you lose the chance dig into the pool of unknowns: CR, Theo, Holman (and I know am missing something here).
Go for Holman, i'd say. He's the one I suspect the most of being emilia due to his early game antics.

actually...scan me...
Desdemona has no power to affect fate, whether her own or any other's, and yet the world of this game revolves around her. She has lost her handkerchief. If her handmaiden Emilia finds it, Emilia will leave her side and join her husband on Team Evil. If Emilia finds the handkerchief and thereby changes alignment, then Desdemona will also look like a "foe" if Othello scans her. And if Desdemona is slain by day, Othello (if alive) will automatically die with her.
Absolutely...scan me so we know for sure if emilia has switched over or not.

no mr "i lost-my-captain-obvious hat"...means that emilia is on team evil.
if yo ureally think that i am emilia...ya need to put on your thinking cap? Why come out when I did? Why come out when it was safe? Why make a target for myself? Why even broach that? Even if there was a contest of claims the obvious solution is to wait for Trigg to die at night before exploring who is the real Desmond? Also notice the lack of counter claims to me?
I understand yoru hesitance...you do have to consider everything; but coming otu as i did...is not something i would do as evil at this juncture in a game. Think about it. I'd like to think I play a more savy game as evil.
